Best fish and chips ever love the people there and love the food cant get enough must try and u always get extra food i drive 25min every week just to eat there

This review is much overdue, as our family have been 'regulars' for many years.
Though this favourite shop is busy, Couta's is well staffed and there's never a long wait.

This friendly, family business, offers a great selection to choose from. -
The fish is freshly cooked, great portions, and tastes like 'it's just been caught'.
(Battered or grilled, both perfectly cooked).
The chips are 'best ever' due to the quality (& changing), of oil.
Scallops are huge, and the batter is crisper and delicious.
Other favourites are their souvlaki's and burgers - generous, and quality.

We have recommended Couta's to all our family, relatives and friends, who have also become regulars. -
(My friend, visiting from Strathmore', prefers an order here, to dining out!!!).
The Staff are always friendly, and courteous. Young, 'cheeky' George is always friendly and happy to assist with your order. - We look forward to our 'regular' Friday N Chip nights!

This is one of the best fish and chips shop I've encountered. Lovely crispy batter and chips that are not soggy. The service is friendly even when under the pump on a Friday evening when the lines are long and the prices are great.

The fish and chips here are unbelievable. It's definitely one of the best fish and chips shops we've ever been to. I recommend this place to everyone. DELICIOUS! Whenever anyone comes to stay with us, we get fish and chips from here and everyone says the same thing-that its the best fish and chips they've had in a long time.

I always receive golden fresh chips and lovely battered fish from Couta. Their hamburgers with the lot are the BEST i have ever tasted and the people there are always friendly and lovely. We wont go anywhere else for our F&Cs, no where else compares.

Their fish bites are humongous compare to other fish and chip shops in the area... great for the kids. We live in Point Cook and have 2 fish and chip shops closer but the extra travel time is worth it. Fish batter is great and chips are the best!!

I'm fussy with fish and chips, but this place I now compare the rest with. Chips are crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside, fish cooked to perfection. When I'm in the area I choose to have fish n chips. Value for money. Will have to try a kebab the next time...

Give these guys a go! I've been going to them every Friday night for the last month or so and their fish and chips are great. Their souvalaki, especially the lamb, is unbelievable... A full meal in itself with more meat than you can poke a stick at.... Great value!!!.... unless you're a vegetarian!
The shop is clean and neat and the guys behind the counter are pleasant and friendly.
if you order over a certain amount ($25 I think????) they give you a 2L Soft Drink for free!! Not bad!!!
