We didn't have a booking but rocked up to the restaurant around 7pm and asked for a table for 6. They had a booking at 8:30pm, so we had to leave before then.

The unique thing about this place is that there are some meals that are cooked on a 400 degree C stone plate. I ordered a fish stonegrill, however my partner ordered a porterhouse, only the size of a palm, however it was around 4cm thick! The meal also came with a small sashimi/sushi. The stonegrill actually looks quite small, but because you probably would want to cook the meat longer, it is really filling and you probably wouldn't want any additional sides.
My tip would be to remember to turn the food on your stonegrill or else that side may become burnt onto the stone. I also wouldn't order the fish stonegrill again, I was feeling a little hungry afterwards, or I should have ordered a side. However my partner with his chunk of meat came away feeling quite satisfied.

Approximate cost: $30

I'd never been to a Japanese restaurant before, let alone teppanyaki style restaurant. It was quite a fun experience to have especially the games the chef plays. I was quite frightened that I would have rice all over me, but I caught the bowl!

We tasted the house warm saki, also the sweet warm saki and the cool and crisp saki. Not bad!

When the chef flames up the beef in-front of the people sitting near the grill is awesome, hard to watch and SO hot!

We as the group was teppanyaki virgins we didn't really know what to expect, like if I was supposed to wait for others to eat and if I was to drink the miso from the bowl. Great how the waitresses were japanese also!

Approximate cost: $Varies, depends on your appitite and if you have a set menu or a la carte

This hotel is another of our favourites for a social lunch gathering during the weekdays.
Fridays lunches are usually very busy , however the most recent visit was a Thursday.
We chose from their express lunch menu $9.50 (unfortunately, not listed on the website). Chicken parma, squid salad, chicken/beef burger, was what was ordered during this lunch, everyone cleaned there plates; nothing was left over!

We had a party of 5. Three of our meals was served firstly and it took around 5-10 minutes for the other 2 meals to arrive at the table, which was the only bad thing, but it was bearable.

Meals were great on all accounts (especially their thick cut chips), quite good portion sizes, and tasty! We will be back again!

Approximate cost: $9.50 lunch/ $15 dinner

We frequently use this hotel for work lunches/someones birthday/leaving the job/ any celebration. Good variety of food, even caters for the vegetarians (not just a salad). We usually book a table. Prompt service

The burgers are great! I can not fault the food! it defiantly is delish!

I've only eaten in once during the week.. from now on its takeaway!

Eat-in: That one time, they lost our order! we were waiting for 1.5 hrs for our meal. By the time our order came we were ravenous! We continuously saw other people who were sitting in eating their food before ours and the takeaways were faster. Disappointing eat in service. From that moment on I vowed to never eat in again.

Takeaway: Prompt service when its takeaway.

Approximate cost: $10

The best fish and chip shop within walking distance from my house.

Chips are ok, I like to ask them to cook them a little longer to get desired crispiness.

I've had one bad order where the guy taking my order thought I had said 5 flake, tried to make me pay for them all

I'm fussy with fish and chips, but this place I now compare the rest with. Chips are crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside, fish cooked to perfection. When I'm in the area I choose to have fish n chips. Value for money. Will have to try a kebab the next time...

We ordered pizza to take away, but sat in store while the pizza was being made. Didn't appear busy whilst we waited. Pizza was disappointing. chicken loaf instead of real chicken pieces.

I have only used these vets for annual check-ups but service is great I would defiantly use them if I needed to place my cats in major surgeries which (touch wood) will be never.
Great learning facility on their open days where you can see behind the scenes of the hospital.
