Awesome paleo menu plus all the standard options. Great event space out the back too. Very impressed with the food, beautifully presented and delicious. Coffee sensational.

This place has a lovely eating area and the menu choices are terrific. Service is a little on the indifferent side which is a shame. The main issue is the pricing. Lots of the breakfast meals are over $20 which is way too high. I had avocado as an extra and that was $5 for a very small serve of icy cold mash. The cold avo wasn't a great accompaniment with eggs. Nice bread but only one slice. I would prefer 2 slices rather than one small chunk piece.

Approximate cost: $20

Food is great and restaurant has calm relaxed atmosphere. The fire is great in the winter.

Staff can be offish sometimes, but this is variable. It's a shame because it lets the place down.

The brunch is great, and they have a lovely wood fire in the winter. Another plus is that they have plenty of space, so you can usually get a table (obviously except on special occasions, such as Mother's day).

Our experience was marred by an exceptionally rude staff member who berated us for closing the glass door to stop the smoke from the deck wafting over our table. We were only protecting the interests of our young children and were mortified when she took issue in such an excessive and aggressive manner. I had a close friend visiting from overseas and it was totally humiliating. I am unable to comment on the food experience, because we left immediately. I kindly suggest improving your customer service skills.

Great food in an expensive area with menu prices to match.
Staff can be a little cold and indifferent.
Menu original and well cooked.
Parking very tight in the quieter part of bay st.

My mothers group started meeting here each week for coffees. THey have a fantastic room out the back which they let us use. Great because with 8-10 mums, bubs and prams, we take up a fair bit of space and it can be a bit chaotic! The coffees there are always great and from what I've heard, the food is superb too. (Have only had toast there myself which was very nice but some of the others have eaten lunch there several times.)

The room would be great for a function too. In the front section they've got a nice open fireplace and a deck out the front (hence the name I guess) which would be great on sunny days.

Approximate cost: $20
