We had 2 storm water pipes that needed to be cleared every 2 years. After being flooded for the 3rd time we decided to bite the bullet and get the pipes relined. One goes under the concrete driveway and the other is 2.5 metres under a raised garden bed with a retaining wall so access via traditional methods would be hard.
All our dealings with The Drain Man staff were of the highest order. We dealt with a number of people over the 10 day project and all were professional, courteous and more than happy to explain everything they were doing as the job progressed.
As the pipes are blocked while the resin cures they checked the weather radar each morning before commencing work and on the one occasion when they couldn't work they rang to say they wouldn't be here that day. When one of the pipes was being cured and a few showers hit they rang 3 times within 3 hours to check that we weren't having any water problems with the rain. Also left a mobile number so they could return quickly if we did have any problems.
Overall we would absolutely recommend The Drain Man, not cheap, but you get what you pay for an excellent profession, through and courteous job.

Blocked Drain just before Christmas! Jon came and unblocked our drain. The service was excellent, Jon knew what he was doing and explained to us after. I also asked a question about another drain and he unblocked that drain also. If needed I would have The Drain Man again. All done in 1 hour. Great service.

It was obvious to me that The Drain Man company had provided Rhys with a lot of training and knowledge. He was on time, courteous, knowledgeable and managed my need for ongoing works by Yarra Valley Water. I felt very comfortable that this plumber knew exactly what he was dealing with. I had a blocked sewer. The Drain Man arrived the same day I called at 2pm and was finished by 3pm with the blockage completely cleared. Rhys was a very pleasant young man who kept me fully informed of his progress throughout the process. The camera & the equipment they use are world class and enabled Rhys to quickly identify exactly what and where the blockage had occured. This is a first class business operation which I strongly recommend to anyone with a blocked drain or sewer. While there fee appears high in the first instance there efficiency and equipment solve the problem quickly making them cheaper overall in my view. Thanks Rhys.

Reece from the drain man was detailed in his explanation of what he was doing and of further works that I required. He was courteous, knowledgeable and cleaned up after himself. What more could you expect from a professional tradesman?

Prompt, friendly and efficient service and excellent communication. They answered all my questions and explained every step of the process, showing me their progress along the way. Quite expensive but can't fault the service. Would definitely use again for any difficult drainage problems.

Cannot recommend this mob.
Firstly, excessively overpriced based on radio advertising, which gives opposite impression.
Secondly, I've asked them to come back to fix a minor problem they caused when they silicone the toilet unit back to the wall....multiple emails later and they've still not returned....off to ombudsman.
My advice.... Use different plumber

i had a blocked drain that 3 other plumbers could not fix. the drain man came out and instantly resolved my issue and explained to me what was causing the blockage. i am very happy was money well spent. i hope i do not get a blockage again......... but if i do i know who i am ringing. thanking you eric johnstone
