Booked one of the function rooms to celebrate my 50th in "Roaring 20's" style, also had my daughter's 21st and friend was impressed with my daughter's party also booked function room for her daughters 21st. Great atmosphere, little disappointed with event coordinators attitude when I advised my numbers were lower than first anticipated. She'd made comment that had she known earlier about final numbers probably wouldn't have put us in the function room!! With that attitude I won't be referring venue to friends etc again. Despite that everyone had a very memorable night.

Great atmosphere, delicious food and wine. I always feel relaxed here and never feel like we are on a schedule to get in and out so the table can be freed up for the next patrons.

Ah, the Ed. I've been making monthly trips to this place since I turned 18. They prepare a nice range of cocktails, and drink prices have always been reasonable. Their food isn't great if you're a vegetarian, but they have quite popular schnitzel and beer deals, reasonable price and reasonable quality. I wouldn't go out of my way to dine there, but if you're in the area with a few friends and feel like a few drinks and a bite to eat, it's the perfect place to stop. Also has a very nice beer garden.

This is a fantastic place to visit for lunch, dinner, in between meals or drinks. It has a really nice beer garden which runs the length of the pub and a nice indoor area for eating as well. The food is always above average and there are some interesting selections on the menu.

I was part of a large birthday group, which dined here on a not too busy evening. Took a while for orders to be taken (approx 45 mins) but meals came out fairly promptly. Some diners loved what they ordered, others (like me) didn't. I ordered a chicken Caesar salad, which came complete with a pre-cooked, refrigerated poached egg (ie a very cold egg!) tiny cubes of chicken, and all covered with grated, (ie pre-packaged) parmesan, that tasted like that horrid stuff in cans (you all know the brand). I couldn't make out the individual flavours of chicken, bacon, dressing or even lettuce! I also couldn't eat more than about a third of it due to the overpowering nasty cheese taste.

Other diners ordered schnitzels, which they stated tasted like they had used stale crumbs to coat the meat. Another diner asked if they used proper calamari for the kids' meals and not that processed stuff, and was told that yes, it was proper calamari, only to find that her son's calamari was indeed the processed stuff (looks like mashed seafood formed to look like calamari rings). Overall, a disappointing evening food-wise

Approximate cost: $15-38
