My favourite desert place. There should be more places like this in Adelaide. I hate going to crowded cafes, which are noisy and not comfortable to dine in. Elephant walk is a perfect romantic cafe. You get to sit in your own private booth, the lounges are so comfortable, you wont want to leave. The mood and atmosphere is perfect, dim lights, soft music. The deserts are delicious and they are tastefuly decorated. I have been going there for years, even though it has changed owners and you dont get lollies with your drinks, the desert size has slightly decreased, you still a great serving which is more than enough. I always walk out feeling like I ate too much. In summer sitting outdoors is really nice, you feel like you are in a tropical jungle. The only thing I can pick on is I wish the place was bigger or had an upstairs, as its very popular, sometimes you have to wait outisde a while to get in. Was a bit annoyed last time I went there was a group of teenagers who were so loud and distroyed the atmosphere for everyone else.

These guys are slightly expensive so I tend only to go here for special occasions.
They specialise in yummy deserts and ATMOSPHERE! The tables inside are private, cosy and dim - perfect for that romantic evening. Or outside are more tables set amongst a small winding jungle rainforest. This is one place you definately shouldn't miss.

One of my favourite places to go after dinner. Always busy with a line up outside. So cosy for a winter's night desert / or coffee/ tea. Open late most nights.

You can't go past the Elephant Walk if you are in the city after dark for a gorgeous dessert or beautiful coffee/tea (or both!) really cosy Bohemian booths and a lovely outdoor area out back which is perfect on warm nights - prepare to lineup it is really popular and you will understand why after just one visit it is brilliant!!

This is one of the best places in adelaide. Great food, great service and the surroundings are so unique. it has a real theme going on - indian? rainforest like out the back. we lost track of time there, and they let us stay way after closing time while they cleaned up. great people.

I was surprised at the lovely interior and the even lovelier exterior of this place. Its lovely to have a coffee out the back where it feels like you're in a jungle. We were there so long, we hadn't noticed they had closed and the guys just let us stay there, they didn't hurry us along or anything! very nice people.

this cafe is quite unique. it has a little indian or mid-eastern interior.
i like to go there with my close girl friends or my boyfriends as the booths are small.
i would never go there with someone i don't know well or don't want to know well.
they have various kind of light meals, snacks, desserts and drinks.
my favourite is it's parfait with lots of thing to eat.

I love the ambiance of this little place. It is quiet and dimly lit, for a relaxed dining experience. They have great little booths with comfy lounges to make you feel at home and the decor is jungle-themed, giving the place its originality.

Approximate cost: $15.00
