Great playground great area nearby to eat. You have to go to the counter to order, food is pretty much the same as any other pub, the real selling point is the playground and it is awesome.

As a mother of 5 kids, the huge selling point of the Everton Park Hotel is the huge playground and games area and I have to say my kids loved it. They had an absolute ball. The food was good and the service was friendly. I have to mention that the pokies room (not that I do that often) was one of the best I have ever seen. The whole place has a lovely family friendly atmosphere. I found the cost about average, but we had a great family night out!

This would have to be the most child friendly dining experience on the north side of Brisbane, Casual pub dining but still nice and classy. Good food and not unreasonably priced.they have a games room a playground and even a huge carousel, if you have children of any age this is the place to go

I attended a function here recently. The setting was quite nice. I was driving so I bought a premix drink so I knew the alcohol content - a bacardi breezer was $10.80!!! Crazy price considering there were beer varieties and other alcoholic drinks for much cheaper. Service was OK, nothing fantasic. The food I had was off a platter for the party and it was alright although the waitress wasn't very sure of what she was actually serving lol. All in all in was OK. Typical pub experience, nothing overly amazing.

Had lunch here with the kids on a Saturday. The dining area in the courtyard next to the kids playground is a great idea but the gate to the actual playground seemed faulty and kids were freely walking in and out on their own. Needs addressing. It's also kind of hard to see the entire playground from your table so getting up frequently throughout your meal is necessary to really keep an eye on them. The carousel runs at $2 per child. I can see that this would be a great place to host a child's birthday party. Our kids had a nice time. The food was average (though decent portion sizes) and my little boy's burger was quite hard for him to eat considering it's height. Cappuccino was very nice and came with a little biscuit. Kids get a free soft drink and gluten free ice cream tub with their meals. Steak meals range from $25-$35. Loads of parking out front and daily specials throughout the week.

I've been here before and was never that impressed. Went back for lunch today with family and remembered why I don't frequent the EP. There's nothing special about it, the food is standard tavern fare (everything with chips) and the service is very slow and just so-so.

The outdoor playground is large but is not entirely visible from wherever you sit which kind of defeats the purpose of a safe playground.

The carpark is large and the location of the EP is good. They have a drive-thru bottle shop, pokies and a lounge. It just seems there's not much atmosphere and there's nothing to compel you to return.

A group of us went to the Everton Park Hotel for brunch, coffees were great, some of the meals were missing items which they quickly rectified but one staff member in particular was quite rude. Awesome playground for the kids.

Approximate cost: $12-$18
