We had Sunday brunch here and the service was terrible.

Ordered 5 juices and a coffee, only 3 juices came out.and the coffee took 45 minutes.

Food took 40 minutes to come out

Staff were not attentive whilst we were waiting.

We noticed people waiting in the doorway to be seated for nearly 5 minutes and staff just walked past them without being acknowledged.

Food was good though but wouldn't go back due to them being so slow

I enjoyed some delish tapas here with a group of mates. The service was good and the Tapas were fantastic! The main menu didn't seem to have alot that was tempting to my taste-buds, however I have heard they change their menu regularly which is good.

The breakfast at the Firehouse is just sensational. Always fresh and just beautiful. Love the cosy atmosphere with the wood fire. The service is so friendly and extremely professional. We love going there as a family for breakfast. Excellent tea and coffee also. They definitely know how to run a restaurant.

What a fantastic restaurant, great service, lovely menu and value for money. Well thought out beverage list with something for everyone. If your looking for an exception dining experience this is the place!

You can miss the the Firehouse if you don't know what you are looking for. But nestled in between officeworks and other random shops on franctic Maroondah hwy is a little space of solace. Great coffee (one of the only places in Ringwood for good coffee) Lovely food (especially breakfast!) and good ambience. What a relief to find some culture in ringwood..

We love eating out for breakfast and like to find new and interesting places that do great coffee. The Firehouse was disappointing in that it was just 'okay' with prices that were a little bit more than usual. The service was slow (and neutral rather than unfriendly), the food okay but not inspirational and the decor was again okay but it has a hard edge - perhaps it needs to be carpeted or have some soft wall hangings. The thing that puts us off going back was their inflexibility - I asked for a minor ingredient substitution and was instantly and definitively told No. Considering that most of their breakfast meals contained meat, this inflexibility means that vegetarians will not do too well here.

An old firehouse which is a very interesting venue. I like the set out. They have a range of interesting foods quite different to the regular restaurants. Quite expensive for a small quantity.

An old fire station, this restaurant is a very interesting venue. They have maintained the original facade and duplicated the fire station door as a large window. A shame that the original firepole had been cut down years ago for health and safety reasons. The current owners have retained the sawn off stump in the original position.

The service was very friendly if a little slow. The food was up and down. Our table had some very nicely cooked calamari, lamb and veal (cooked exactly as requested) dishes. However the chicken pie, although generous, lacked any complementary sauces or vegetable sides, the citrus salad being quite dry with a strange sprinkling of cinnamon. A shame as this could have been a good dish with a little extra thought but ended up a dry experience for the diner.

The wine list was adequate and had a few interesting wines and after dinner drinks.

Will visit again in the hope that they will become more consistent in their dishes on offer.
