Ordered a family size ‘heat & eat’ veg lasagne online to discover it was frozen solid…no chance of the easy dinner I had on planned. Called the Forge and received an apology, no offer to replace our meal. Had the lasagne the next night and it was dreadful, undercooked veg and swimming in cheese…very disappointed.

The smell as you enter is nothing short of divine - in fact I'm sure I floated through the door on a waft of pizzery goodness. The pizza was nothing short of delicious - in fact I think we had a moment, my pizza and I - yep I felt like a kid eating something naughty but so good for the soul.

very enjoyable pizzas from here we did eat in and we all enjoyed our evening here great size pizzas and all full of lots of toppings as well you also can order a few drinks while eating in very fast friendly customer service as well and a wide range of pizzas to choose from of menu all at very reasonable prices a swell thanks for the great meal

Good friendly service & great pizzas. Also the option of a couple of beers if eating in or grab a couple at the bottle shop & return to comfort of your room at Ambassador Motel. We chose the latter as we wanted to watch Origon 2 the 1st night but went back & ate in on our last night. Probably a bit higher price than ave pizza but worth it

If you are looking for good, high quality, full of toppings pizza then this is the place for you. The prices aren't exactly cheap but in my mind it's well worth it. Great place.

I have never been to The Forge in Alfredton, but walked past their new place in central Ballarat. I loved the decor, in the old antique shop, so was keen to go.

The service was amazing, the wait staff were friendly, helpful and knew their food.

The menu was amazing, so enticing and combinations of ingredients that were different and very unique.

My friend and I shared the pumpkin pizza. Wow, it was light (as in not dripping in fat and cheese), and the ingredients were fresh and delicious.

We could not resist trying the Strawberry and White Chocolate pizza for dessert. I wondered if the novelty would live up to expectations. It exceeded them! At $12, a great sharing dessert, I considered it fantastic value.

Finishing with coffees, we left feeling very satisfied, not 'stuffed to the gills', and that we'd had a quality meal, in great surroundings.

I am definitely going back!

Best pizza in Ballarat. Not the cheapest but its well worth the little extra to get something amazing. Get in with you phone orders early as it can get very busy on the weekends. Desert pizza is to die for strawberry chocolate and cream what more could you ask for.

Amazing Pizza, fresh ingredients, great service. I live in Ballarat North and is always worth the drive for a delicious pizza. If you haven't tried one, do yourself a favour and do, the pizza will speak for itself..

Finally, a food outlet in Ballarat that takes their work seriously. That is, they provide an excellent product at a fair price. I have eaten there a number of times and have never been disappointed. The pizzas are well made, well cooked and they clearly take pride in their product.

Prices are higher than some more basic chains but the quality is much higher again.

Some of the best pizza I've had. You definitely pay for quality, so this means I can't dine there as often as I'd like on my student budget!
