Excellent food, especially their authentic pizzas which are half price between midday-2pm, and excellent drinks. My partner enjoyed their craft beers while I loved their flavoured vodkas. We would definitely dine here again.

The Fox Hotel is South Brisbane's only real party hotel. With 3 levels you can find your crowd in the one hotel. The older locals drink on the ground floor and the younger crowd go to the roof top bar.

Best place ever!!! The food is fantastic. The drinks are even better and the music is great. Nice place to go for a few quiet drinks on a Sunday. Or for a great night on a saturday

The fox has had a pretty decent renovation lately and has a number of different menus. I dined in the designated restaurant and it was good quality. My twice cooked duck was fantastic and has been voted one of the top 50 eats in Brisbane. However my friend said his steak special was overcooked and even though their wasn't many people there the service was still very slow. I have to mark them down slightly because they also don't have a kids menu which I think is a pretty easy thing to do and restaurants should at least have something, fair enough the pub bar not to but the restaurant itself should.

I've been going to The Fox Hotel for many years and always enjoy myself there. Unfortunately it's been around for a while now and is definitely showing alot to signs of wear and tear and could use a revamp. My favourite part of this hotel is the top floor, there is a rooftop bar with the best view of the city, it's the best place to sit and have a drink with friends. I recently went there for a birthday function and they had it in a tiny private room downstairs which felt really old and cramped. The food they provided was ok, nothing special but the toilets for that room were disgusting. It was a unisex toilet with a door that didn't lock! Pretty awful. All in all I am still a fan of this place it just needs some refreshing to bring it back to life.

We had our wedding reception here in august 2012. The coordinators were great. We were able to have our own music both in the form of an iPod as well as live bands. We were able to go in and set up as we pleased, as well as store things overnight to collect the next day. The foodbwas amazing. We had a slight hiccup in the beginning when barstaff weren't properly advised of the bar tab restrictions and told guests they coukdnt have something we had arranged to have on the tab, but this was rectified pretty quickly when I spoke to them. Our cake was served well. The place is old and in daylight theres plenty of maintenance things one might point out, but it scrubs up well at night when all decorated and full of ppl. We used the al Capone room had a private bar and bathrooms... Only thing is we had asked in advance about there being a lift for an elderly grandmother, but this ended up being out of order on the night

I have been to the Hotels all you can eat Ribs and Pizza, and the ribs are very nice. The pizza is quite good too but it's not a normal all you can eat as you only get a new pizza for the table once you have finished the previous pizza and you don't get to choose the next pizza. Good for a one off if you love ribs.

this is a great Sunday pub with cheap steaks. its a perfect location right by the train station. it has great music and freindly staff.

Had a great hens afternoon stairs were a bit much on some of the older ladies but it was great once up on the roof.
