The best bread in Bendigo! The pumpkin bread is to die for. The food is all very wholesome, home cooked and healthy. It has a bit of a cult following.

The tables are rustic, mostly outdoors and there are blankets to keep you warm in winter.

Once a month the cafe hosts Trove market, and the place is well and truly alive and buzzing.

Great cafe with a lovely feel to it and delicious food.

Approximate cost: $12

I was wanting to try out this place.. as i'd heard good things about it.. I've never had sourdough before, but thought i'd give it a go.. i just got a simple chicken and tomato slices on sourdough bread.. was nice and healthy, and i felt excellent after it for eating so good.. will come back again next time we're down that way..

Bight modern cafe with plenty of room to move around tables which is good if you have a pram with you as some cafes are so small and crowded. They provide a menu with a range of choices from a bowl of homemade salad or dips and bread to a hearty vegetable calzone or their homemade soup with bread, and all bread are baked freshly by them and are beautiful. Also yummy slices available and coffee is great too, they use their own bled of coffee beans.

I love their pumpkin bread. Date scones are nice too. I always find the staff to be friendly and quick. Small amount of indoor seating and plenty of seats outside. Good range of sourdough breads.

I was REALLY wanting a chicken and salad sandwich while we were out buying stuff for work today, and my partner decided this is where we would go. She bought me a chicken and salad sandwich on wholemeal sourdough. OMG YUM!

It was HUGE and had chicken, cheese, lettuce, carrot, tomato, beetroot and cucumber on it. All ingredients were fresh and delicious. The bread was to die for.

If you're driving around town and hanging for some lunch, head here. You won't regret it.

I have been meaning to go in for some time but just never did? Strange because I love sourdough Bread.

I did on this day and bought a loaf of bread to try out and a sausage roll of with I am also a fan.
I LOVED their sausage rolls and I thought for the size of them they are reasonably priced, there seemed to be a touch of curry in and Oh so good.
The authentic sourdough bread is just as nice, I couldn't wait to cut the crust off when I got home for a sample.

Its a nice old building where a Tyre shop used to be and is still in its round shape and I thought unique.

Yummy authentic sourdough loaves – I love the honey oat best.

When I first moved to Bendigo it used to be a tyre and auto shop so the bakery still has an unusual round shape to the building.

The cafe has a positive uplifting energy. I have had great coffees from here but other times the coffee was just good.

They have a selection of meals available for breakfasts and lunches. I particularly enjoy their toasted open sandwiches that they make from their sourdough bread loaves.
