The Groove train is a great place to go when you don't want anything too fancy, and you want to be full for a decent price. They have a big selection of items on the menu and the occasional special. It can get quite loud on the weekends as there are many families that come here for birthdays. My favourite thing from Groove Train is the Nutella strawberry calzone-a sweet, folded over pizza. It's big enough to share between two but one dessert lover can finish it off.
I was invited here by a relative who was celebrating their birthday at this venue I had heard of the restaurant before but I did not have high expectations.
My cousin ordered a seafood platter for the whole table to share as well as bread, wine
The seafood was fresh, tasty & very well cooked
So for my main I chose the creamy garlic prawns again very enjoyable, came with jasmine rice, salad
The dissapointments were the desserts definitely a let down
i probably will return but go else where for dessert.
The pizzas also looked good too.
We recently dined here for dinner. I had purchased a voucher online. We were both surprised by both the great food and excellent service. Our waitress was cheerful and happy. Our food arrived very quickly. We shared a delicious antipasto dip. All of our food was fresh and tasty during our visit. We thought it was really great value for Brighton!
This place sounds great!
We've had mixed experiences with the service at Groove Train in the past but we decided to give it another go last night. The food was really nice and the service was top notch and much improved. Pretty good value for Church St too.
Approximate cost: $20
