Unfortunate Church’s shoes
A few years ago, I bought a pair of Church’s Burwood Brogue shoes from Australian online retailer the ICONIC. This is in fact a pair of expensive shoes and I have kept them in mint condition. I recently read an online article and learned Asymmetry in shoes is a Common Quality Defect. And I thought of my Church’s Burwood Brogue almost immediately. On the right shoe, the seam of the rear quarter is not centred, but off to the right. I contacted Church’s straight away. Amazingly, they quickly responded to my message. At that time, I honestly thought Church’s was going to look after their consumer.
After a few emails back and forth, it turned south before long. Church’s shoemaker advised me to contact ICONIC (the Australian retailer) as it is Church’s policy and procedure before the faulty shoe can be sent to Church’s repair centre. So, I emailed ICONIC. Yes, the rest of the story has followed the classic plot. Long story short: Whilst Church’s shoemaker claims the retailer ICONIC is liable for checking defects before selling, ICONIC believes their customers should cop it if they fail to check the quality of their purchase on delivery.
I have expressed to both Church’s and ICONIC that I don’t appreciate being led in running circles with no genuine intention to solve the problem. And there are simply so many other good options in the market especially at high price bracket, end of story.

They don't honour their returns policy. I was not able to return the two pairs of pants I purchased for a larger size. The customer service representative was very uncaring when I was trying to resolve the issue. His outlook seemed to be that I got them cheap, so it wasn't much money I was losing. Maybe not to him!

I don’t normally write review I have to admit that I am always happy everything about this company. Keep up the good work.

After years leaving in Australia I finally decided to try the Iconic, only to get stressed and regret completely my purchase... I was sent something I didn’t order, cheaper than what I actually paid for (shorts instead of leggings).... then when I requested what I actually paid for I was asked to actually pack the item THEY sent me and walk 20 minutes to the post office ( I leave far from everything) when I am already working 7 days a week and I barely have time for myself.... where is the empathy?! Why should I pay for the company’s mistake?! I really can’t understand ... a online shop should have in mind the main idea of buying something online is to avoid getting out of your own house and waist the time I don’t have ... specially to go the post office fix someone’s else’s mistake.. I am not an employee of your company, why should I be fixing your mistakes with my time like I owe you something when the mistake was not mine?!

The best online clothing store I've ever used. The best communication, very fast delivery and totally hassle free easy return process.

One of my favourite if not favourite online clothing stores, always exceptional delivery, all sizes and are on trend.

I thought I would be getting high quality clothes, but I suppose for the sales price, what can you expect? I ordered 3 items, one of them was a better quality but the others were bit dodgy and smelled like polyester. In short, the clothes I received were not up to par with my expectations. (The needlework was messy, there were threads sticking out in many places, and I was doubtful that the actual clothes would withstand washes.) While beautiful on, the quality was definitely lacking, I would advise being scrupulous with what you buy. Buy it if it looks amazing on the model and the model shouldn't be covering the clothes with her arm - THAT shirt was translucent.. would not wear it. This is my one-time experience and am going to return 2 out of 3 items. Will see if they stay true to their word for returns (and possibly do an update). One pro is really fast next-day delivery over a certain price. It's pretty hit and miss with online shopping so only go for clothes that really look good on the model.

So disappointed with these guys - they don't keep their word on returns. Really not worth shopping online.

I missed the 100 day window, contacted the ICONIC to explain the suituation. I contacted customer service and they were incredibly friendly and said under the circumstances they would refund anyway. Deborrah even sent out a new return label for me.

I packaged it up, sent it in and then received an email refusing the return because it'd gone over a 100 days. I sent in a comprehensive reply including the reference numbers of the relevant conversations and the response I got, and I quote: "Sorry to say but we can no longer accept this items for return."

That's it, one line, and refusing to honour their promise already made to a customer. It'd be one thing if they had refused in the first instance but this is frankly ridiculous and quite rude.

The Iconic is a great name for this business!
They have a great range of brands, some of which are otherwise hard to find in Australia. A great store.

I head over to the Iconic web site when ever I have some spare cash! They have super fast delivery also!

I made my first purchase on The Iconic yesterday and I couldn't be happier! Delivery was made in less than 24 hours (and I don't live in Sydney), the clothes (3 tops) were exactly as advertised and are also good quality. Each one was wrapped individually and very neatly, they were gorgeous and exactly what I wanted.
Needless to say I'll be a loyal customer from now on, in fact I placed another order tonight!

I am a frequent shopper of The Iconic and can 100% say that the service and quality is fantastic. I work for an online company myself and know how important fast and good service is. I always receive my orders within 1-2 working days.
Though last night I placed an order at 8.30pm and when I left to go to work the next morning at 7.30am the order that I placed the night before was on my doorstep! Couldn't asked for better service.
Also shoutout to Jessica from The Iconic whose name was written on my consignment note, who I am assuming processed my order very quickly and efficiently. Exceptional work!

I received a voucher for The Iconic and was excited to use it - $250 to spend on clothes, what a treat! Unfortunately I was let down in many ways.
1. The delivery was scheduled for the evening between 5:30pm - 9:30pm. It didn't turn up, and I had no notification that it was going to be delayed so wasted a night.
2. They sent me the wrong item
3. When I emailed to resolve the wrong item, they promised they'd get in touch in 2 business days - 4 business days ago. I go overseas in 3 days so I'm looking forward to trying to resolve / post the item back to them from Germany.

Honestly wouldn't recommend them - maybe as a last resort if you can't find what you want elsewhere, but don't trust the same day/same evening delivery service.

The best online shop with exceptionally cheap prices. There are often sales that range from 20-50% off. The range of the items broad and can be suitable for anyone any age. Seeing the price of the clothes may make you think the quality is bad but the quality is actually really good. You get a really stylish trendy clothes for a really good deal. They also offer 4 hour delivery in Melbourne for only $9.95 or free if you spend over $125. Most of my wardrobe is from The Iconic because its the best place to shop.

The clothing available for men at this online shop is fantastic.....unique, well priced and their return policy is 100% .....but what amazes me most is the speed of delivery....I'm 300ks from Sydney in a small regional area yet my orders arrive overnight....often with free delivery...I shop there a lot

I love that they offer free overnight shipping over $50, because its almost like going to shops and picking something up. The sales are definitely worthwhile, but just beware of some of the cheaper brands and their fabrics - the quality of some isn't always up to expectations. Free returns is also a great safety net if you're new to online shopping and skeptical of the whole idea

I wouldn't say everything on this site is great value but they do have some bargains and thats like all stores really. However when they are onsale and you can pick up some discount codes you can really nab a bargain!

I got some really good quality leggings for $2.50 you can't beat that.

Great clothes and accessories :) expensive though... Postage is great and items are good quality. I use my Iconic items all the time and have never had a problem with them :)

Great website for "all you need" fashion, but you can certainly find better prices elsewhere. Have always had great postage when I have ordered, but wait until there is a sale, it isn't worth it otherwise.

I'm an addict! Browse through a massive selection of clothing, buy as many as take your fancy, pay and it is delivered within a couple of days (for free). Try them on, decide which ones you want to keep and return what you don't want for free. Risk-free!

Excellent online shopping website. The thing that makes this website better than others is they offer free, no hassle returns and free delivery. Great if you need to change size, but you can also return for a full refund. They have a great range of shoes and accessories also.

Stocking some of Australia's best brands, you can buy something that looks gorgeous online knowing that you won't pay the price if it's too big, small or just plain ugly when it arrives.

I wish they stocked a few more things that I would like to buy, because I'm sick of making expensive returns to other online retailers.

I would recommend them above every online retailer that doesn't have such fair policies, because they give you complete freedom as you'd have if you bought the item instore!

I just bought of shoes and got it the next day. They're super reliable with shipping and delivery. Really easy payment options and heaps of styles. 3 hours shipping option is amazing. I will continue to buy things from Iconic because they always have some sort of promotion going on.
