One of the best places to go for tastings, beautiful setting with views over the vineyard and surrounds. delicious wine, food and knowledgeable staff. Our visiting family loved it here, so much so that we returned a couple of days later.
Definitely recommend.

Fancy intimate settling backing onto the vineyards of The Lane. The food and service here would be second to none, personalised service, smiley face, and decent wine, what more can I ask for.
Its close to the main street of Hahndorf so after you enjoy yourself you can go for a walk and enjoy the rest of the day.
Ensure you book heaps in advance as they're always booked out on weekends.

We didn't intend to go to this vineyard but we'd driven out this way only to find our original choice for lunch closed and we knew the vineyard offered lunches. We were given a table out on the covered deck overlooking the vineyard and across the valley. The meal was superb. The vineyards wines are available by the glass and are top quality. For non-wine drinkers they carry a locally made beer which my husband quite liked. The meals are not cheap but well worth it for the quality and the view. Our visit was for a special occasion but we loved it so much we were back again with the in-laws for a repeat visit within weeks. Have recommended it already to friends and would recommend it to anyone wanting their meal with a view.

We had an excellent visit to the cellar door at the Lane recently. The wines they had for tasting were fantastic and the setting is just gorgeous. We didnt have any food here but the menu looked great too. The staff were friendly and very informative.

The setting is lovely and appears to be popular. My husband & I booked here and while booking we asked if it was a place to eat with younger children. We were assured that it was however when we got there, we were seated so close to the toilets and away from everyone else we didn't feel to welcome. I know there are places you can and places you shouldn't bring kids. The Lane is one which is more appropriate for adults.

This is a brilliantly sited cellar door and function centre.
With beautiful views and sweeping surrounds, it sure is a place to visit if you're interested in the wines. Although, comparably they are a bit more expensive than others with just about the same quality
