I was craving something sweet and my husband was in need of something savoury so the OK Pie Shop was perfect for our needs. Their fabulous sticky bun it the spot. Yum! and my husband enjoyed his pie, packed full with meat and gravy, found it hard to stop at one. We returned the following day to try their sausage rolls, which were also quite moreish.

Lots of variety of pies to choose from. I had the potato pie hubby had the mushroom and both were very tasty. Everytime we walked past this shop it was always busy. Glad we decided to try it. Cakes they had were delicious as well. Before we left Mt Gambier we stopped in and bought some buns and cold pies for home

Approximate cost: $4

I only tried their pastie but it was beautiful, lovely flaky pastry and tasty fillings,I thought it was very reasonably priced and it was very busy so it must be popular

Lunch today was at the O.K. Pie shop which is either seated or takeaway. So many pies and pasties and sausage rolls together with all the sweet bakery items. There was a long line waiting to be served at noon as this appears to be the local people's favourite shop. My husband had a meat pie which looked and smelt great and I had very tasty gluten free chicken and vegetable soup with lots of chicken pieces in it. The mugs of coffee were good too. A great old style pie shop. Think it might be lunch tomorrow too.
