It has been a long time between visits but it still looks the same, smells the same and the pancakes taste the same. I'm not sure if a revamp is needed or whether it would lose its charm. Service was a little slow - we either got attended by no-one or inundated with staff. Not all drinks were brought out and then we were over charged. Very apologetic. The food however was a treat. You can't but want to return - if only for the food!

WOW! A real blast from the past & I wasn't disappointed! The decor and location is quirky and it still feels the same as when I went as a school girl! The pancakes were amazing and the staff were very attentive and friendly

Oh my god, the pancake kitchen! Have you been there? It is a funny little place, the service is terrible and some of the main meal options are a little crappy, but the pancakes are amazing. It's such a fun place to go with young kids or with a group of girls.

During the Adelaide Fringe, a lot of performers and front of house people go there too, because it is such a great no-fuss eatery (I hesitate to call it a restaurant!) and it's open all hours.

My favourite is the Russian Blintz. I'm lactose intolerant but I'll always brave the tummy ache for the delicious, amazing cream cheese filling.

Worth a visit if you don't mind weird decor and want to have some fun!

This place has been around for as long as I remember (and looks it) It is kind of shabby, the service is not always friendly and the prices are a bit high, but the pancakes are wonderful and it is open 24 hours a day.

It is a good place to go if you want to have pancake in various style. I think they have delicious pancake and I like the scramble egg. Just the price is a bit expensive for pancake meals. Its within the walking distance in the CBD which is practical. One thing I hope that they can improve the interior look.

I simply love the pancakes here even though they are a bit pricey. A great place to come to for savoury dishes followed by hot chocolate or pancakes with icecream.

Approximate cost: $12

This cafe is great for pancakes only! Staff are not very friendly and could be happier to work here. The smell is quite strong in the small venue but the quality of the pancakes is what makes me go back again. Very old venue and has good reputation in Adelaide

I love their pancakes. They have a huge variety on their menu. Convenient being open 24/7. I do agree with everyone else it does need to be renovated it is looking old and tired.

Been around for years. Is an Adelaide icon and open all hours, and the feed is always reasonable.
