Totally cool pub!! This place has a great vibe and the food is good and well priced. She they close so early.

"The Rose" is a great little pub off the main drag of Newtown's King Street. The restaurant upstairs offers fine dinning and a great level of service, while the pub downstairs will help with tasty cocktails and a decent beer and wine selection with a pleasant environment.

Bar Food and restaurant food both great, bar food always reliable quality and good size portions for the price. Restaurant went through a not so good patch but it seems to be back on the right foot again. Have been there regularly in the last couple of months.

I ate here once with my partner and we both thoroughly enjoyed our meals. This pub must have been recently refurbed because the decor is really nice and comfy inside and has a good atmosphere inside. Their food doesn't taste at all like regular pub food and is more like restaurant quality. But you do pay for this...the menu isn't cheap compared to other pubs. We will deifnitely be back though.
