While not a big meat eater, I do enjoy great meat dishes. The Smoke BBQ is a great place to eat with a varied menu, from cheap options through to more expensive dishes. All heavy on meat, most light on vegetables, and all perfect to enjoy with a beer (or many beers).

We grabbed a platter and had a few drinks and a good time was had by all.

The smoke is the original American style BBQ restaurant. Although there are now a lot of competitors it is still definitely way up there. It is still the closest place to the buffalo wings I have had it the US and their 3 heat ranges give you a good choice. They have a good range of American staples for lunch and dinner with some great burgers and ribs. They smoke all their meat in house too. My only complaint would be the last time I had pork ribs they were a bit dry, their pulled pork is an absolute winner though.

I just read adriennehs review and was surprised. We went there about a month ago and you couldn't wipe the smile off my carnivore-for-a-brother-in-laws face. Meat heaven. The ribs were delicious, kids had great fun with them. You feel like a flintstone!!!

We were disappointed by the atmosphere it was get in eat and make sure you're out for next sitting, which meant food was fast but it was kinda rushed. The pork belly was dry and when the waitress asked how the food was and we said the meat is dry she responded with oh ok and walked away. Prices not too bad and staff friendly but lacked atmosphere and too production line for me wouldn't bother going again.

The best ribs in Brisbane that fall apart when you touch it with a knife. Not extremely decadent that you feel sick after your meal but very satisfying. No sickening aftertaste - this is the real deal on how meat should be cooked.

Buffalo wings were also great - cooked with care and not dry like other competitors. I would say half beef ribs would be enough for one but most items on the menu are excellent.
This place definitely shows they are experts when it comes to cooking meat!

Lunch specials are also great if you want to try on a budget and without booking too far in advance. I recommend to book well in advance for dinner as once you try this place you will understand why there is an extensive wait list.

Must try ribs and worth every dollar!!!

I have been here previously and found the food great - but the service terrible. Luckily that seems to have changed - the staff are attentive, professional and friendly. Being Canadian I miss wings, pulled pork and other BBQ - and the Smoke does not disappoint. All the food was awesome, the chicken wings and pulled pork among the best - highly recommended and good to see improved service.

what an awesome experience! This is one of the best places I have ever eaten in Brisbane. If you are a meat lover then this is your restaurant. Big plates of meat with chips is standard and the onion rings are the biggest and best I have ever seen.

Four of us went there for lunch recently and thoroughly enjoyed the meal. The chips are crispy, the coleslaw is creamy and the meats are delicious! For starters we each had buffalo chicken wings with blue cheese dressing ... awesome!!! Then we each had a po'boy sandwich with chips and coleslaw plus some pulled pork. The beef on the po'boy is smoky and morish.

We could have been tempted to spend more had the staff been a little more attentive. Staff are polite and friendly but could take the opportunity to upsell more.

Great setting, easy and free parking in Coles centre carpark and PLENTY of menu options for lunch and dinner. Highly recommended!

By the way, they offer takeaway too.
