Have not been here in quite some time but the standard never changes and it makes for a good night out. The seafood paella is just so well done and succulent. It is my fav.

We enjoyed the food particularly the Garlic Prawns and the beautifully prepared and served Paella.
After the delicious meal that kept everyone talking you packed up seamlessly and only left a delicious parcel of leftovers.
The most I liked from Typical Spanish it was how they care about details, their flexibility and of course the impressive display of food.
There was heaps of food and you decorated your cooking station beautifully.
Good price/quality relationship taking in to account the equipment they brought to my place and the satisfaction of my guests. Definitely I would recommend this catering service.

I went to this restaurant mostly every week day becoz it is get super busy during the weekend. Should never order the octopus because it is tough and tasteless. The pork belly here is quite nice and I love the service here as well. A little more flavour and seasoning to the food would be good I suggest. But overall it is Ok

There are a couple of tapas restaurants within Randwick, last weekend I choose to go to The Spanish Fly.
The service was great considering it was busy, our waitress was very informative and friendly.
The restaurant has a great trendy vibe to it.
The food was 'good' although I did feel that the portions were very small all my orders came on side plates. I didn't leave feeling 'full' which is what I want to feel when spending my hard earned cash.

Approximate cost: $70

This restaurant looks very inviting and it always looks busy. However it was not worth the wait for the table. I thought the food was very average, some of my meat was raw and some of my tapas looked really old. It was expensive and the service was slow, I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.

This tapas restaurant, though very well-presented, frankly turned out to be a little lacklustre when we went there for dinner last November. As soon as we arrived, we were met by a waiter who told us in an unfriendly tone that if we wanted to sit outside, then we would have to wait about an hour. Nothing more was said, so we had to ask if there was space inside, and consequently we were told to go to a man at the bar who could help us. This man (wearing a loud hawaiian shirt) did not look up at us for about a minute!! And he knew we were standing there in front of him. We felt this to be very rude. We then were shown a table, which had an extreme wobble to it. The waitress who brought out our first round of tapas, certainly noticed that the table was wobbly (she nearly spilled our food!) but nothing more was done. The food itself was nice, but very overpriced - for example, the one of the tapa specials that night was clams in a garlic and white wine sauce, priced at $32 - and we mostly got empty shells in our dish! The chorizo we ordered was more like a frankfurter, and again was much too overpriced for what it really was. All in all, much too pricy and flashy, for what really is a mediocre, self-assuming tapas restaurant.

Approximate cost: $20-30

Thanks for a terrific description of your experience. The chorizo sounds positively horrendous! Appreciated the heads-up! Reeces

I little on the dear side but still good. Been here a couple times since it opened and it is nice. Cool, funky atmosphere which is a little different to the tapas bars in Spain. The tapas themselves are yummy but the wine is even better. Wish there where more place like this in Sydney. Recommend you go after the movies because you may want to stay a little longer.

Approximate cost: $25

Madrid comes to Randwick. Funky little tapas bar/resturant that is good for a quick drink before or after the movies.

Approximate cost: $15

Improved a lot since last time I have been, Spanish fly delivers good quality tapas style dishes, that only lack of good seasoning and love. Their dishes are not exciting and i personally don`t think they fully reflect the prices.

Approximate cost: $16-40

This restaurant has on menu all traditional meals and drinks from spanish culture. The interior has been average , personally I was expecting a little bit more, something more exciting. They are providing great service but not such great food. Maybe I was expecting too much or I am too fassy. But I visited this restaurant only once and it didn't impress me enough to come there back again.

Approximate cost: $20
