Great food. Food servings are huge with fantastic tastes and aromas. Variety of foods and drinks. Fantastic atmosphere and wait staff - always ready and willing to assist. Neat and clean. They are always busy, so best to make a booking to avoid dissapointment. Great value for money.

The Strand is great for a date. You can always find a table for two - group booking need notice, because it's so popular! My partner and I always order a wood-oven pizza to share. My mum and I always order pastas - she likes the seafood, i like the chicken. Sometimes it's hard to grab the attention of staff if you want something in addition to your initial order - like a drink half-way through eating your meal. There was a speaker in the front corner of the restaurant, that I ended up under once, which gave me a headache - but that has since been removed. So all in all - great location, great food, so I'll be back!! Maybe I'll have room for their mud cake next time...I have been eyeing it for a while.

The Strand is a relatively modern restaurant specialising in meditteranean cuisine. Although they create a variety of dishes, having a location close to the beach I'm primarily familiar with their seafood, which is more often than not of high quality and good portion sizes. The price is reasonable too.

I really enjoy eating at this cafe, it is one of my favorites and every time i pop back in i am always satisfied. I love the pizzas and the ceaser salad. The meals are very affordable and make it perfect for a quick meal or a get together with friends. As it's perfect for anyones budget.

I often come here for breakfast. The service is good and the quality of the food is always very good. The meals themselves are perhaps a little pricey but the location of the restaurant and the quality of the food makes up for that.

The pizza's here are fantastic. We always go to The Strand when we are down at Glenelg. The staff are great, although the price for a modified pizza can vary by a couple of dollars for the same thing depending on which staff member serves you. Overall, they are great.

Have visited this busy venue a number of times at different times. Dinner that was packed but the service excellent. The staff at lunch or just having coffee and cake are so observant and meet your every need. Congratulations to the training people.
