Such a lovely place to visit. This is the largest rocking horse in the world. It cost $2 to climb the rocking horse and you even get a certificate afterwards (so cute). Really enjoyed the day out.

Certainly a great day out for the family, did you climb the rocking horse?

Yes I did and was surprised when the lady handed me a certificate for climbing it .

Well done! I am not one for high places, cannot handle it. I am sure it was a lot of fun.

The Largest Rocking Horse in the World! When you see it you will believe it. This is a great place to take your kids during the school holidays it will certainly keep them entertained. Their is a picnic area, a wildlife park, toy factory and a cafe/restaurant. Heaps to keep the kids happy.

It's great because you have all the entertainment in one place and you can bring packed lunch or go to the restaurant as there is quite a bit to choose from. Quite an extensive menu, you can even have breakfast there if you like to start your day early. Kids menu starts from around $2, great value and all meals are quite reasonably priced.

A great fun day out. It costs $2 to Climb the Rocking Horse.

This is a great family day out. Free entry to the park, and very minimal cost to climb the biggest rocking horse in the world, it cost $2.00. The park has many animal that the kiddies can wander around with, plenty of photo opportunities. The llamas are real characters, they follow you everywhere. Peacocks with their beautiful feathers roam around and they're such a beautiful sight. During school holidays there are on occasion pony rides for the smaller kiddies. There is a cafe/ restaurant on the same grounds, so its easy to make a full day of it without having to pack lunch. They have a liquor licence so parents can relax with a drink after chasing the kids all day. Prices are good, and the meals are yummy. The fisherman's basket was delicious, and the hamburgers are huge - more like a tower. After all this you can wander through the Roy factory, there's something for everyone. You can even buy food to feed the animals, and its very cheap. Expect tired kids, they'll have so much fun.

I agree with all previous reviews; excellent day out for the kids. I'll focus on the cafe since all other aspects have been covered (climbing rocking horse/toy factory/animal park).

There's a cafe onsite with outdoor seating set amidst lovely large shady trees (about 20m away from the cafe adjacent the playground and animal park) - there's also outdoor seating under cover in case of rain, and seating inside the cafe, which is airconditioned on hot days.

They provide table service, you order at the counter, they will even bring your drinks/meals over to you if you're sitting at the tables under the tree covered area.

There's a good range of typical cafe food, the coffee was quite good, $3.50 which is reasonable. It was $3.50 for a sausage roll, $4.50 for pie/pasty, which I think is normal cafe price range as well - so I think the pricing is pretty fair considering they could take advantage of the captive audience and charge over the top.

There are also picnic tables provided and you're welcome to BYO food (no alcohol of course) - which we plan to do next time - though if you wanted to treat yourself and the family you wouldn't break the budget eating at the cafe.

Service was fast and friendly. It was a little busy when we arrived but they had a good number of staff so they got through ordering quickly and the coffees were delivered fast as well.

Approximate cost: $7.00

Excellent place to take the kid's for a cheap, yet enjoyable, day out. $2/person to climb the rocking horse as many times as you want and then you trade your ticket for a certificate (children 3 and under are free). The Toy Factory shop is amazing! All the 'old-fashioned' toys we used to play with as well and some touristy memorabilia. The kids loved looking through here. There is also an animal park that is free entry (bag of food $2). We took the liberty of using their picnic area to sit and have our lunch, there is also a kid's playground. So all up it was a very enjoyable day out and not too expensive.

Approximate cost: $2

This shop and tourist attraction are great! Home to the world's biggest rocking horse which you can climb up it. Kids will love this place. The factory manufactures Australia's largest range of wooden toys at unbelievable factory direct prices. The shop area is huge and is packed with wooden toys but there are also souvenirs, gifts and novelties. There is also a cafe and landscaped bush park to relax in.

This is a great family outing. It only costs $2 per person to climb the rocking horse - and you get a certificate to say you have done it. It's free to walk through and see the animals - which are all out roaming free so you can pat them and feed them (you need to buy food from the toy shop). They have a cafe, or you can pack your own lunch and have a picnic. There is a big grassy area for picnics and a couple of tables.

The toy factory is amazing - so many wonderful wooden toys - but beware as these cost a bit and if your kids are anything like mine they will want everything.

we found that this place was really good for children as our son absolutely loved the animals outside and the fact that they all came up to us so that he could pet them was really good

Approximate cost: $free

A visit to the Big Rocking Horse is a great day out for the family. Just $2 to climb the horse and visiting the animals is free. The animals are very tame and there is a great variety to keep the kids entertained. There is a factory that produces wooden toys that are great for gifts.
