I had my wedding at the Victoriana in nov 2012 . I can't speak highly enough of this business . We had our ceremony and reception. The food , venue and accommodation I was very pleased with .. Priced very reasonable. My guests all commented on the food and how much there was of it . I also had a few guests including us at the Victoriana over night and the accommodation was very nice. Meredith was very helpful with everything for the big day ..anything I wanted Meredith tried her hardest for me to have . Would highly recommend to family and friends
We found that the Accommodation was out dated and well over priced. For the Reception side of things we found the waitress's too be rude and really could do with a course In hospitality. We will not be recommending this venue to friends.
I appreciate your feedback and am extremely sorry you were disappointed with the service you received at the Victoriana Function Centre. I was present at your function and believe the staff behaved appropriately towards the guests at all times. All our staff are trained in Hospitality, and Responsible Service of Alcohol. Under legislation we must abide by the laws of responsible serving of alcohol and great care is taken not to offend guests when we have to adhere to these laws. I are sorry if you mistook this for rude service.
i currently have my wedding ceremony and reception booked here for in the coming months and i have to say the service is incredible. It was the only place i have inspected where Meredith had the room presented with a table decorated to give us an idea on the room and has offered herself with any assistance i need along the way to planning my wedding. It was also a plesant surprise that you can pay your function off along the way :) Prices are FANTASTIC, service is EXCELLENT ! highly recommended to all !
