Went here last week for a mid-week drink. Prices are very reasonable and it has beautiful views. Open until late and the service is friendly and welcoming! I will be back ;-)

Stopped in here for a drink on a beautiful Saturday and this place was packed. The service was fast and the location is superb - looking out onto the water and had the doors open to catch the sea breeze. A large pub which looks perfect for functions. Unfortunately didn't eat anything but the dishes going past us looked excellent and the menu showed they were well priced. Would love to come back and hopefully nab an outdoor seat this time!

We recently had lunch here with a large group of friends and family and we had a really great time. It was surprisingly quiet thankfully so we could re-arrange our tables to suit ourselves. Their menu is good, mainly pub-grup - burgers, pizzas, steak etc. I wasn't that hungry so I had Salt n Pepper Calamari and it was delicious. Most of our group had burgers and there was a selection of beef, lamb or chicken - they all looked great & very filling. They have a massive selection of wines (I sampled a few bottles of bubbles & rose) along with many beers, both on tap & bottled including Duff Beer from The Simpsons (hubby sampled that lol). We had a lovely time sitting here for hours.

Approximate cost: $15 burger 5 beer

The old Wooly Bay is starting to look pretty dated but its still a favourite amongst the locals - including the sailors from the Royal Australian Navy who frequent it often. The Sunday afternoon sessions are still the best! The food is slightly better-than-average pub fare - its not going to win any awards but it will fill you up and it does taste good. Offers several bars inside so you'll always be able to be served somewhere in there.

The staff are friendly, the food is nice, but drinks are overpriced - atmosphere and quality of food and range of drinks aren't quite good enough to warrant the prices charged. But its a good place to start your night or for an early dinner.

Approximate cost: $20
