hopeless and rude staff. a staff member processed a refund as a debit from my account, twice, and she said she'd worked there for a year! don't count on them refunding you though - they don't stand by their products or freshness. they have a ridiculous policy where you have to notify them within a few days and even then it's subjective. for people who don't know thomas dux is owned by woolworths. everything in this store is excessively marked up. even their organic produce is a failure - $6 for a limp and dead organic kale haha.

Visited Thomas Dux Grocer for the first time last week. Without doubt, they provide top-notch quality, and the samples are a nice touch. However, the prices are a little excessive, and the staff don't seem any more interested than those at a supermarket.

they have a marvelous selection of gluten free products (far superior to local supermarkets or coles or safeway) and on saturdays they have a lot of samples of exciting new foods to try

We were doing shopping at the outlets and chanced upon this 2 day old grocer which was a refreshing find along Bridge Road. We decided to get our fresh produce and loads of other gourmet needs and had a great time shopping. They had that relaxed atmosphere, all organized and well presented products from Australia and all over the world. The prices were so good and reasonable and staff were attentive and great! Even had product tastings on site which was a welcome treat for us! A highly recommended place with lots of good ambience and exciting products-organic and fair trade goods and even use of the paper bags!

I did a tour of this place through a naturopathy clinic and learned so much about the types of foods to be eating and ingredients to be avoiding. I love the caffeine-free chai tea they sell.

Approximate cost: $7

Macro is the best place to shop for organic products, the produce is fresh. And the meat is at a reasonable price. The good thing about macro is they have an instore naturo path which can always help you out with any queries.

This is a great organic supermarket with a lovely cafe. It stocks a huge range of goods and is pretty much your one stop shop if you are a vegetarian/vegan and like organic food. Shop and then have lunch.

Its fantastic to have all organic products in the one shop. Prices are high - but that is to be expected for organic food, though some products I would prefer to order online at slightly lower prices. A good shop to have locally.

good range of stuff you wont often find elsewhere. not that cheap, but it's not pretending to be a discounter. cafe is good. service is sometimes a bit offhand though (at the cafe). it would also be good if they had a more meaningful customer loyalty scheme

Cannot speak highly enough of macro foods. We love it. It is a great source of all that is organic to biodynamic. The meat is very nice and if you go at the right time of the week the meat on sale is very reasonable. Just watch at the checkout. They make mistakes everytime I have been there and always in macros favor.
