Cannot speak highly enough of macro foods. We love it. It is a great source of all that is organic to biodynamic. The meat is very nice and if you go at the right time of the week the meat on sale is very reasonable. Just watch at the checkout. They make mistakes everytime I have been there and always in macros favor.
This is a good place to find gifts for friends and family. The early learning centre has a wide variety of toys for new babies right through to older children. Musical instruments are great as are the electrical toys for the little ones. We also love the soft range for the new babies.
A traditional country pub. Nice views overlooking the sea and a good choice of food available. We normally have the steak, which is good value. They cater well to families. We went with my grand daughter and were offered a high chair. The seafood is not bad, but fairly typical for a pub.
We met some friends with a small child here for breakfast. You have to queue to be served and you need to wait for your own coffee. (They manage to bring food to the tables, but not coffee for some crazy reason) The location is great, but the service is poor. The quality of the food isn't anything remarkable. At $9 for muselli, I expect something special. Too crowded to enjoy.
Went to the cafe around the back of Carousel on the weekend. The staff were very friendly. We only had coffee, but the food being brought out looked very tempting! Massive glass windows give a great view over albert park lake. very light and airy. nice on a sunday morning.
Went there with a group of friends. good noisy atmosphere and a great place to unwind and to soak up the stkilda ambiance. Prices are as to be expected. Service is friendly, not pretentious and fast. Try their house red, which was really good.
One of the best places in Melbourne for fantastic, fresh bread, rolls and pastries. THe food is pricy, but the quality is great. We recently went there to get some sandwiches for a picnic on the beach. So fresh and delicious, and healthy compared to the other options in the area.
I've only been to Veludo for drinks. It s trendy bar with a relatively expensive restaurant upstairs. There is a big fireplace that you can sit around to have your drinks, making for a comfy vibe. A good place to catch up with someone you've not seen for a long time, or to meet with larger group of friends.
Chinta Ria is the original Chinta resturant. It is more conventional and less trendy than Chinta Blues, but the food is still fantastic. The jazz themes in the decor make for an interesting dining experience. You may get a seat here is Chinta Blues is too full.
We love this version in the chinta chain. We come here often. The serves are large and the service is very fast. Staff are at times a liuttle standoffish but dont be put off. They are worth enduring for the great food. We bring overseas visitors here and they alewways rave about the place. Especially the Americans who can't believe the prices.
