I noticed this place is always busy, so thought I should Check it out. However the fruit I seen looked rotten, smelt rotten, felt rotten. It was also over priced even the rotten fruit out the front. The place was messy, dirty, wet & cold. Had to line up just to buy some bananas. But there were staff everywhere. Not worth going here when you can get same quality at cheaper price at supermarket. Maybe I got it on a bad day but that was bad enough for me not to go back.

Sounds positively horrendous. Reeces

This is a beautiful fruit shop. The produce is fresh and affordable. The staff aren't as helpful as I would like, however the service is generally good. Tunstall Square is a great little shopping strip and the fruit shop is one of those lovely shops!!

Overall I have had good experiences here, however it does depend on the day and the staff! What I find best about this place is the different quality of produce that you can choose to purchase - in general, fruit for sale inside is of higher quality and more expensive, produce outside is generally of lower quality and cheaper. I find this very convenient, as I can choose produce according to what I need. If I want small produce that I will use in the next few days, or that will be cut up into pieces for fruit salad or stir fry, I'll buy cheaper outside produce. If I want larger quality pieces of fruit for a platter, I'll buy the more expensive inside products. Often I'd shop with my daughter and the staff were very willing to put my purchases in a bix box and walk them to the car for me, even when I was in the carpark on the other side of tunstall square!

i am trying to encourage my children to eat new fruits and vegies and as such i found my self asking the owner what was the differnce between paw paw and papya only to be told their the same well no there not i later discovered if the owner lacks info than get of the shop floor. I then had the check out chick charge me three times the amount for the passionfruit i had bought when i spoke with her about it she replied i work here you don't i know how much things cost. I then walked to the sign and took the sign with the advertising price to the cheack out chic and said it seems not she said that sign must be old and it wasn't her fault if i wanted the passionfruit then it would be at the three times the advertised price not what is advertised. WRONG ANSWER LADY

Approximate cost: $to much for the quality

my exeperiences have been up and down yet once i asked the manager who was packing grapes and leaving them in the sun if he could make the same grape packet up for my mother who was sick in hospital. not only did he refuse me, but he started to mock me to the other workers in arabic. i may not understand arabic but i understood the gist of it, especially when the shop assistant inside confirmed my worst fears. to me the fact that the shop owner could mock me in a foreign language proves that i should not shop there. i can only imagine what he says about others. i used to spend $$$ there!
