Came here last weekend while on day trip to Yarra Valley. When I contacted the restaurant in the morning to make a booking, I was told that they have a group of 15 coming in at 12 PM so I should come in at 1 PM if I do not want to have to wait ages for my food.
We got there at 1 PM and turned out the 15 people were still waiting for their food. I was worried we might have to wait ages for our food- but as it turned out we only waited for about 15 minutes. I had the seafood platter- it was huge and I struggled to finish them. The scallops were undercooked. My husband had steak and fries- he quite enjoyed them.

We went here for New Years and rocked with Normie Rowe. What a great night, fantastic food, drinks all night, no queues and no trouble. We will probably go back each year.

Approximate cost: $150

I didn't enjoy this restaurant. The main I got was undercooked steak, although my wife enjoyed her main. I Didn't like the decoration, I prefer more modern restaurants.

A nice place with good prices, especially on a Friday night when they have pub meal specials. Live music is a bonus and adds to the atmosphere. Good wine list and standard meals that appeal to a large range of people.

One of my favourite places to dine, the food, drinks, service, music, everything here is great, not to mention the beautiful views over the vineyard and Dandenong Mountains.

Approximate cost: $26

Always a pleasure to eat at the Twisted Vine. John and Linda Corcoran are great hosts and the food is generally local based fare complimented by great wines.

The large restaurant has been great for family catch-ups and the atmosphere is always relaxed and comfortable. The fireplace is lovely in winter and they have a gorgeous outlook over the hills.

Approximate cost: $26

Finding a long blond hair in the butter - revolting. Asking for a bottle of chardonnay, being bought a red-listening skills need improvement as this is the third time I've been the same problem has occurred, dessert - the port wine trifle, placed in a tiny glass, no care - looks messy, no presentation and asked to pay $12.00 for something that could have been prepared at home which would have been a lot more tasty and easy on the eye. Pick up your act please, you used to be good, and your food handling skills are not that good. One more thing, why do you insist on putting your food in drinking glasses and serving it to customers?
