I had my washing machine fix by Raj, marvelous, couldn't be better. I'm very happy with the job they did.

Our washing machine was leaking water and we found this company on a google search. upon calling for a call-out i was told the call out was $88 plus labour/parts etc

the gentleman attended our home and said unfortunately we need a new washing machine, but in the meantime fixed it temporarily so we can do some washing until we get a new one

the guy was polite and helpful, in giving us his opinions on which brands are worth looking at.

I was told when I called that someone could come out and fix my washing machine the following day for $55 which includes half an hour labour and that it will be additional for parts. I was told in the rare instances they have to take it away but if so it will be returned within a week.

When the technician arrived he didn't look into the problem, he just loaded it into his van and charged me $88 saying that was the charge for my suburb.

After a week I hadn't heard anything, when I called them I was told they were waiting on a part to quote me for repairs and they will call me back with a quote. I also questioned why I was told it would cost $55 but it cost $88 - she said that it was $55 to pick up from my suburb plus $33 for half an hour of labour on the spot - I said he didn't do any labour except for 3 minutes to load it into his van. I was told that that was their terms and conditions.

A week, I still hadn't heard so I called them again and they told me they were still waiting on parts to quote. 3 days later they called me quoting $380.00, I told them not to bother and just to return it to me. I was told that would be another $88 to return it. I asked why $88 when it was supposedly $55 to pick it up when no labour would be involved - again I was told it was in their terms and conditions. I was told it would be returned the following Monday.

I stayed home from work on the Monday so it could be returned, then I get a text message late in the day saying that they are unable to return the washing machine until Wednesday.

Don't use or trust this company! None of the information they give you on the phone is the full information. It will cost you more than you think - just go and replace your whitegood, it will be around the same price and much less painful!

Our dishwasher gave up the ghost due to a motor burnout. We called Unit appliances and on the phone the sounded great. Could get a service man out the next morning and was very confident they could repair it on the spot.

The service man turned up in the afternoon, not morning which did not impress my wife who had to cancel other appointments. despite a detailed description of the problem and unit type to the phone operator, none of this had been passed on to the tech guy who quite frankly was just rude.

He came in with barely an introduction. got down and looked at the diswasher and asked what the problem was. He looked around for a bit and then announced that he had to take it back to the nanufacturer to fix it. (we had called the manufacturer and was not impressed with their price or timelines. To find out that unit appliances were only going to act as a transport service to the manafacturer was not very impressive.

When he brought it back (two weeks later - longer than the original manafacturer quoted) he did a very poor job of installing it and the diswasher kept tipping forward everytime the door was opened. The tech was very surly to be called back to fix his own shoddy work and the repar only reduced the problem.

Thankfully we sold the house a couple of months later and when we needed a new dishwasher in the new house these guys did not get a lookin.

If you want service then I recommend you look elsewhere.

We had our washing machine repaired. They came out the same day that we called them. They gave us a 4 hour block as to when the service person would arrive and he arrived within that time and fixed the machine in under 30 mins so we only had to pay the minimum service charge plus parts. The service man was happy and friendly.

Great service. I call them in the morning and they came to fix my dishwasher the same day. I'm very impressed with service and I recommend this company to everyone.

I made an appointment to have my washing machine serviced...as I booked the service two weeks in advance I was given a 100% commitment that they would arrive to do the work within a two hour window. I again ontacted them several days prior to confirm the time/date and was again given the OK.

on the day we delayed all appointments and I stayed home to wait for the workman to arrive....they didn't turn up .

I contacted them and provided my booking details to a (not very articulate ) woman who wasn't able to confirm the original booking and wasn't even convinced I even had a booking....??? this was sounding very unprofessional ... a back yard business.

I received a call later in the day from the service man about coming over to do the job....when I advised I had needed to leave for another appointment he could have cared less. he just wanted to know if he should still turn up even though no one would be at the house now anyway!... wasted hours of our time waiting for a service call that didn't arrive...why would anyone want to waste their day waiting for this lack of of service...should not advertise that they'll be on time!!! or guarantee they'll arrive at all!!! too many other better providers to waste your time with this back yard job!

with so much competition and access to share information you'd be silly to ignore the importance of genuine customer service...

I had my Fisher and Paykel Washing Machine repaired by Unit Appliances, i was very happy with the work they carried out, the Technician was very pleasant, and i found them to be very reasonable with their prices. I would absolutely recommend them. :)

I emailed them after our dishwasher gave up the ghost. No reply email after 3 business days, so used the phone to make an appointment. They said they couldn't find the email we sent. Then two days later someone else from the company leaves a number of messages on my mobile responding to my email. The person we spoke to at that time didn't know that we had already telephoned. Seems like the left hand doesn't know what the right hand is up to.
They identified the dishwasher problem as being the water pump, which could be replaced. They said that they could get the part within a week, and took our dishwasher away. Well, it took over two weeks. They claimed they were waiting for the part from overseas. Total cost $400 plus two call outs of $50 each. On the positive, they also fixed the soap dispenser at no extra charge, although it's a little temperamental.

Fixed my washing machine quickly and with minimal fuss. Arrived within scheduled time frame 11-3. 50 for call out and 1st half hr and done in that time
