Walking away from hundreds of loyal staff eligible for the job keeper program .. Now is the time for businesses to step up especially with the banks giving a government guarantee...

DON'T EVER BUY A GIFTCARD FROM HERE! Brought one for my dad's birthday, as he is a loyal customer who goes to the movies at least once per week. Unfortunately our new puppy found and promptly chewed the card :(. I then went in to organise a replacement and had the slightly chewed gift card with visible number still on it, reciept and proof of purchase on my net bank. Was treated with extremely rude customer service both at Avalon and Warriewood. Was told there was nothing they could do as it would scan despite the gift card number still being visible, was basically yelled at when I asked if there was anyone else I could speak to or the number of the person in charge of giftcards. Left in tears and still can't believe there is nothing they can do when they have 3 presented evidence proof of purchase. Such as waste of money, time and a thoughtful gift. They've just lost two loyal customers.

Service is terrible. No toilet paper in the girls toilets. Chairs are falling apart and the cinemas are never clean.

Went to Cinema on Australia Day. Staff didn't seem to happy to be there. The cinema is very comfortable and lovely and clean. The tolets were incredibly clean. Without vouchers from the local papers the price is expensive. I could not believe that the price of a medium coke was almost $5.00, that is a rip off.

Approximate cost: $10 with voucher.

Service is always great here and the price for students is good for people like me. The candy bar is somewhat expensive, but that is similar to all movie theatres. Its generally pretty quiet there with not alot of people in the movies, however it is great and always clean.

Approximate cost: $14.50

My husband and I went at the start of the yr for the first time. We were very surprised at how nice the cinemas were. The staff were friendly and the price was great value. We will be going back again.

We went to this cinema as soon as it opened, and seniors ticket price was $5 for seniors - either National Seniors card or the government seniors card. Then suddenly they stopped taking National Seniors card. I contacted the manager and said we would be going back to Macarthur Square unless he would at least match their seniors club $8 ticket price. It took a few weeks, but he emailed back and agreed to do that with the National Seniors card as I had requested. Top marks for listening to your customers!! We went back.

Approximate cost: $8 for seniors
