Highly recommend Dr Kua. Had TURP robotic surgery in March 2018. His advice about what to expect after surgery was accurate, it was easy to understand. A very approachable guy. At 6 weeks I am where I was expected to be and everything works.
A blog would be useful for patients to note their progress with some more detail as to what you actually experience, the level of discomfort (there is some) and timing of recovery. Other patients might see what they experience is normal.

Highly recommend Dr Boon Kua. I'm 61 years old.I was first referred to him in December 2017, by local Dr. for on going groin ache, kidney stone and raised Psa level from 1.6 to 2.4 over 12month period. His recommended testing (non Medicare Prostate specific MRi) was done in mid January 2018, identifying cancer tumour and lesions Localised in prostate. Biopsy and PetMri scan followed confirming the cancers. by 14.02.18 I was operated on via the Davinci robot with dr Kua at the controls. The prostate was removed and now recovering well. Following a TURP procedure done 5 years ago by Dr Kua, I was diagnosed in June with aggressive prostate cancer by Dr Kua which he successfully removed a couple of weeks later by robotic prostatectomy. Thanks to his recommended prescribed exercise regime, full urinary continence was satisfactorily achieved post surgery. Due to nerve removal in the surgery necessary to achieve clear margins, it was not possible to achieve erections even with the use of medication and Dr Kua recommended a 3-piece penile implant which was carried out in early December. This has been completely successful with more than satisfactory outcomes. I have no hesitation in recommending Dr Kua to those in similar circumstances.
