I had the most amazing journey from my initial diagnosis through to a successful Prostatectomy all thanks to the wonderful skill and professionalism of Dr Kua.
He is bright and enthusiastic and gave me an enormous confidence in his skills and ability of achieving a successful outcome through the application of his Laparoscopic Robotic Prostate surgery.
I am 67 and recovered extremely well from the surgery and was back on my feet within a couple of weeks. I have pretty much full urinary continence and I can pee again like a 16-year-old. Recovery of sexual function will take a little longer but is to be expected.

I was very pleased with my experience of having an ATOMs sphincter inserted. The operation was a success. Dr Boon Kua was a delight to deal with and was professional and patient in explaining the procedure prior to surgery and helping me deal with the after surgery recovery.

I had excellent outcomes from radical prostatectomy performed by Dr Kua using robotic laparoscopy. I have no doubt that the quality of the result for me is due almost entirely to Dr Kua’s professional skill, caring attitude and excellent practical communication. After surgery, within two days of removing the catheter, I regained full urinary continence. I am 71 years old, in good general health and sexually active. Recovery of sexual function will take longer, as expected, but early signs and treatment options give me confidence in a good result. I was very lucky on at least two counts – firstly in having obvious symptoms that prompted me to seek medical advice early enough and secondly in heeding the recommendation of friends to engage Dr Kua. I also read some good advice prior to surgery “find a skilled and gentle surgeon”. Dr Kua is such a man.
