We liked this cafe for a quick snack during the Engineering Week activities. It's located within the John Curtin School of Medical Research on Garran Road. The location itself is spectacular and worth a visit to see the futuristic architecture and meet scientists working on ground breaking medical research. It also does great coffee and cakes.

Approximate cost: $10-15

This cafe has really tasty, cheap lunches and breakfasts. I particularly like the chicken burgers, and pancakes! It's comfortable to sit in, not crowded, and well worth the walk.

Vanilla Bean is one of the best places to grab a bite on the ANU Campus. It is well worth the trek to the other side of campus for those not in the Medical School. The quality of food parallels that of Gods but the prices are not as high. It is a great place for coffee and breakfast!

It's a little bit off the beaten track, but Vanilla Bean is a lovely light-filled cafe with wonderful food and great coffee options.

Definitely one of the best places to chill at the ANU. A pity that their opening hours are short. This cafe offers a nice ambience. Food and coffee are actually good although breakfast is too pricey for me.

Lil did I realize that this swanky cafe might be the gem of the building, or campus, for that matter. Food is tasty and not what you'd expect to find within university grounds. Try the tandoori chicken pizza, or the myriad of toasted sandwiches and wraps. Even the waffles are good!

Approximate cost: $12

While the meals are a little pricey, the coffee is great, but overall a very pleasant dining experience. Can get busy at lunch, but just shows that it is popular.

Great cafe at the ANU. They make really good coffee and Chai Latte. They have the usual range of menu from Breakfast, sandwiches and rolls, Pasta, Rissoto, Burgers, soups and light meals.
