This cafe has really tasty, cheap lunches and breakfasts. I particularly like the chicken burgers, and pancakes! It's comfortable to sit in, not crowded, and well worth the walk.

This cafe has the best bagels in Canberra! I buy them on the weekend as a breakfast treat during the week. They also do great lunches (such as the lamb bagel) and decent coffee.

Wiffens is a little more expensive than the other grocers at the Fyshwick markets, but you pay for quality. They have an excellent range of fresh fruit and vegetables, which last for the whole week. The staff are very friendly, and the shopping environment is lovely.

A fantastic dance studio! I was looking for a casual jazz class, and technical jazz on a Wednesday night is perfect. The teacher is skilled, the price is reasonable and it's a lot of fun!

An in-out restaurant with tasty, reasonably cheap food, a load and busy atmosphere and decent service. Order the curry puffs and they'll arrive within 2 mins! Great for a quick bite to eat before the movies. Highly recommend the Hot Rock Salt Calamari.

Avoid this agency like the plague! We had two awful years of lack of service, and when we finally moved, we couldn't get our bond back because they never lodged the right forms. The low point was our agent insisting our rent be raised from $350 to $470 a week for about two months before admitting it was a typo. Stressful!

Service was a disaster! We booked a group table, but even with 12 of us we had to fight for a server. We weren't given plates or water until the third time we'd asked, the emergency evacuation alarms ran for a good 10 mins, and despite everyone paying for a $25 'sharing menu', the amount of food left people hungry. Not really great value for money, and certainly room for improvement.
