Vermicelli

Vermicelli is a great healthy lunch alternative for us busy office workers! When I arrived, the restaurant was busy but I could see that orders were being filled quickly which I was very happy about. I ordered the egg noodles with pork and was very happy to hear they also came with wontons! The price was also very reasonable at $8.50, and the best part was I was full all afternoon. I noticed the rice paper rolls in the window as well which looked very tasty, I think I'll be getting them next time!

Vermicelli is a great fast and healthy lunch option for office workers in the CBD. I ordered the Vermicelli bowl with cripsy chicken ($12.50 from memory). It was fresh and filling, and the chicken was very tasty although not very crispy. I've definitely had better Vietnamese vermicelli bowls before, I found that this one was a little lacking in flavour. They provided a tiny little wedge of lemon and some chilli, I think a little more lemon and herbs would have improved the flavour. All in all, I would visit again to try their pho, egg noodles and rice paper rolls which looked great! Service is also quick and friendly.

A great yummy but healthy work lunch option with lots of choice. I've had a couple of their salads, the vermicelli bowls, the laksa and the vermicelli rolls since discovering them and they are all delicious. The salads tend to sell out fairly fast, so get in early - my favourite is the spicy prawn one. The spring rolls in the vermicelli bowls are a favourite, so crunchy and full of flavour. I don't usually like take away soups, but the laksa here was pretty damn good, though not the kind of thing I want to eat an an office desk again due to the mess factor. And the vermicelli rolls are great for those days you just want something small and quick. The sauce that goes with them could be improved - I've tasted ones with more flavour at other places, but that's my only complaint. The ladies that work there are lovely and all too happy to describe a dish to you should you have questions, despite the fact that this place is always busy.
