Great value, On Tuesdays all DVD's including new release are $1 each. other days new release are $2 or $3. Range not as big as say Video Easy but others at this part of Melbourne are so much more expansive
Since becoming the only video store in the are it has done a great job of having lots of stock and always at a low price. the service is very good and overall it is a great place to rent movies. It also is a very cheap internet cafe. My only criticism is the price of New releases which could be lowered a little bit
Approximate cost: $2
video busters is great for a cheap movie night in but beware if your after a new release blockbuster you may have to wait ages untill its in stock as they usually only have a few copys of each movie at most and as soon as it gets returned its out again
Approximate cost: $2
Video/DVD stores can't really differentiate themselves on quality or service, so it’s their selection that counts. This store looks like it’s been around since the early days of Beta/VHS. By the way, I can still remember our family getting our first VHS player when they were still a novelty. The first film we watched was “Flying Highâ€Â. I don’t watch TV or collect DVDs, so I tend to hire at least one DVD per week. This means I’ve seen a lot of the good films you find in the big chains. Video Busters is good because the selection is a bit different to the norm. The flip side of this is that it does not carry many of the usual block-busters. You won’t find 50 copies of Shrek 3 on the shelf.
Approximate cost: $3
This was our regular video store when we lived in the caulfield area, back then they were only charging $2 for the same new releases Blockbuster was hitting you up for $7.95 for.
