5 reviews about Village Cinemas Gold Class

Have been to other gold class and this is definitely the best. the waiting area/bar is very nice and the staff very efficient and friendly. The only thing I don't like is that optus customers can no longer get discount village tickets and can now only get Hoyt's tickets. Village cinemas are so much better.

Nice comfortable seat, friendly staffs. However sometimes the food comes a bit late and you end up watching half way of the movie with no nibbles. Great sound system.

The only thing I wasn't happy is when you line up to buy the ticket. Some of the staffs were not friendly and practically waived his hand to "shoo" me and told me that he is not serving.

But once you go inside the theatre and watch the movie, the staffs there are great.

I came here because of a free upgrade offer from a magnum icecream promotion, and it was just incredible. They offer you meals and drinks before the movie begins, take down your order then bring it to you after you have sat back in your seats. It is definitely luxurious, the seats are huge and spacious and you can recline in them. The food is delicious too. Definitely a positive experience

This is my favourite Village Gold Class Cinema of all those in Victoria. Unlike the others, I've had the most consistently good service here, been in cinemas with fewer seats (thereby being more private and peaceful), and the food has been consistently above average. Apart from that, it has the same perks and downsides as all the other Gold Class cinemas. The seats are very comfortable, the service is generally good, it's more private than regular cinemas, and the food is pretty good, but both the price for admission and food are very expensive and you could only really justify it for a special occasion. It's still my favourite cinema to go to though.

Approximate cost: $~$35 Per Person (+ Food/Drinks)
