3 strikes out of 3. First, I placed an order for a product that was supposedly in stock, but days after I ordered it, Fishpond told me that not only was it not in stock, it was discontinued. Then I placed another order that never arrived, and they made me wait over 3 weeks before they would investigate it, upon which they then informed that my order had gone missing, and that it would take 2 months to get the product back in stock. The product eventually arrived but the box was incredibly crumpled (due to the fact that the parcel had nothing inside it to protect the box and the parcel itself was just a thin piece of cardboard wrapped around the product), and the seal on the box to ensure it hadn't been opened was broken! I gave them one last chance by ordering a product that said it would ship within 24 hours, but then I was told the next day that it would take a week for it to ship and was given no explanation. I contacted Fishpond about this and then they told me they had to cancel the order because there was no more stock left! They clearly have no idea what's going on at this website.

Thus, the prices may be cheap sometimes, but they lie about stock status and delivery times and too many things seem to go wrong. Order at your own risk.

We went here once for dinner.

For food, we ordered several dishes, none were good, they were average at best. To name a few, the prawn crackers were bad, the beef skewers were fatty, the teriyaki chicken was fatty, and the won ton soup was average. For service, the waitresses were polite and prompt, but they struggled to comprehend English and ended up confusing our orders. For speed, it was okay but not done right. They served all of our dishes to us at once, rather than the entrees first and then the rest later on. The environment was not very comfortable, as it was pretty dark and the tables and chairs aren't of very good quality. The value is also bad, because it is expensive and the food was not good. Overall, we wouldn't return.

We went here once for dinner while staying at the Rydges hotel.

The food was good, but has a bit of room for improvement. I had the fish of the day which was the harpuka, which was oddly served in 3 round pancake-like pieces, but tasted good. Service was very good (apart from accidentally giving us the wrong drink and then forgetting to replace it), as they were very friendly and attentive. The speed was very good, we got our food very quickly. On the night, we were seated on a table against the wall which wasn't comfortable, but there looked like there were better seats elsewhere. As for value, it was very expensive for food that was just above average, so the value isn't that good. Overall, it was a fairly good restaurant that may be worth going back to again.

I've been here once for dinner and it was a very good experience.

For food, I had the snapper fillet for the main, and it was very good, as were the sides I had with it. In fact, on that night, it was near perfect. The service was pretty good too, as they were fast and efficient, the only issue was that they weren't friendly at all. The speed was average for the night in regards to the arrival of our mains. The environment was average, with the restaurant area looking very formal but not very bright or inviting. The value was alright on the night, because my main was so good, but it is otherwise very expensive. I'd definitely come back.

I've been here twice, and both times were very good.

On the last occasion, my entree (a sampler of many entrees), main (steak) and sides (potatoes), and wine were all above average. Nothing was one of the best I've had, but they were all above average.

The service has always been excellent, they are very professional, fast, efficient and attentive. The speed is good and it didn't take us long for all of us to receive our food. The environment is also very nice, it's quite formal but not overly so. As for the value, the food is very good and it isn't overly expensive for a formal restaurant, so the value is pretty good too.

Overall, it's a very good restaurant and I would return.

I came here for breakfast once, and it was a very good experience.

The food was very good. I had bacon, eggs and sausages which were all good. The service was average, they were friendly when they were around, but they were absent a lot of the time. For speed, considering what I ordered, they were very slow to bring out the food. For comfort, it was pretty comfortable, it just looks like a regular cafe. For value, it was pretty cheap for good food, so I was satisfied.

Overall, it was a good experience, they just need to improve their service.

I've been to this restaurant once and it was average overall.

The food was average. The steak was not bad, but the peppercorn sauce wasn't good. The vegetables, potatoes and the chips also weren't good. The menu is also quite limited.

The service was flawless, the waiters and waitresses were always attentive, efficient and fast. The speed was also fairly good, as the steaks arrived pretty quickly. The restaurant area itself is a bit odd, it looks like they transformed a corridor in the building into a restaurant, as the seating area was all along a long, thin area.

Overall, the service was excellent, and the food was average at average prices.

I've been to this restaurant a few times, and it's definitely unique and pretty good for the following reasons.

The food is good, my favourite choices there are the saganaki and the chicken parmagiana. They aren't the best I've had but they still are very good. The menu is otherwise fairly limited unfortunately.

The service there is good. They are efficient, attentive and fast. The only problem is that they don't seem very professional, but I'll get more into that later. The speed of the food getting to us was very fast, one of the fastest restaurants I've been to, which is great. The food is a bit on the pricey side, but the quality makes it fairly worthwhile.

What makes this restaurant different is that it doesn't seem like a proper restaurant. The whole place seems like it's a place to hang out for food and drinks for university students. The inside of the restaurant looks like it's somebody's house, which was further proved when the cutlery we each got was completely different (i.e. different forks and knives). The staff there are perhaps overly casual and seem like university students themselves. Hence, this may be good for you or it may make you uncomfortable, it personally made us somewhat uncomfortable. It's a shame because everything else about the restaurant is just great. I still would recommend it.

This restaurant is new, having recently been renovated from what used to be the St. Moritz restaurant which I have also been to. It specialises in steak.

For food, I got a $59 steak and it was just average at best. I've had far better steaks for far lower prices. That was the only food I ordered there, as their menu was quite limited and I personally didn't like the sound of anything else there.

The service was terrible, and there was only 1 waiter there for most of the night. Although we had water glasses, we never got any water, even though every other table had water without asking for it. A table of about 16 people arrived 15 minutes after we were there, and although we ordered long before them, they all received and FINISHED their entrees and mains 15 minutes before we even got our mains (we never even ordered entrees). When our mains arrived, they got them completely mixed up, and even when they tried to fix it, it was still mixed up. They also didn't give us steak knives even though we all ordered steak, that is, until we made it obvious that we didn't have them. The only reason they don't get just a 1 star for service, was because they were at least friendly and apologetic.

The speed of the food arriving was clearly slow, it took over an hour for it to arrive. The atmosphere was pretty good though and the seats were fairly comfortable. As for the value, everything is expensive there and the quality of the food and service does not justify the price at all. Overall, terrible service, terrible speed, average food, good comfort, poor value. I wouldn't come back.

I've been here several times, and the overall experience has varied quite a lot, but more recently, it has been pretty good. Two times I tried different fish there, and they were expensive and bad. The garlic bread wasn't good either. However, I have liked the saganaki and the pasta there.

The service has also varied. The first time I went, the waiter forgot our order, then had to order us new entrees because the ones we ordered suddenly became unavailable, then he gave us too many entrees, then he forgot to give us cutlery, and then at the end we were charged for both the entrees we got and the entrees we didn't get. Since then, the service has been consistently good though.

The speed in which we've gotten our food has been pretty good and it's fairly comfortable inside when they don't have all the doors open. At the moment, the overall experience is average, but it seems to be getting better.

Approximate cost: $~$20-$30
