We came here last Friday 25th Feb for a Weeping Mulbery Tree
and were assisted in the yard by a very helpful and knowledgable man.I forgot his name but he is tall with a beard. My husband and I would like to give him many kudos.
He must be an asset to the company as we sadly don't come across that kind of service often nowdays.
Also a big kudo to the delivery driver who was very polite
and did not hesitate one bit as to where the huge tree went.
We will certainly be coming back again.
***WELL DONE VIRGINIA NURSERY***

BAD RETURNS POLICY AND TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE
My family and friends are regular customers since we moved to Angle Vale 2 years ago. We often have brekky at Doncho's after church. It has been a good experience so far until today when I had to return an item I bought from Stella's. It was still in its original packaging and has not been used however the STORE MANAGER ---DAMIEN -- said we cannot replace or return it because "it looks like it has been used and smells like vinegar". All throughout the conversation, he was UNABLE TO LOOK ME IN THE EYE AS HE REPEATEDLY INSISTED THAT IT WAS USED. He spoke calmly as I did, but was painfully condescending to me. It is a small item however being a loyal customer I thought it would help him give feedback to his supplier of said item more than getting the refund or replacement.
To my fellow locals trust me, check your items before you leave the store otherwise risk being stuck with it. Or better yet GO TO BUNNINGS FOR BETTER RETURN POLICY AND CUSTOMER SERVICE ! To the GENCHEFF FAMILY AND THE COMPANY DIRECTORS, it only takes one terrible customer experience from one of your staff to permanently turn away loyal locals like my family and taint the great brand your family worked so hard to build.

I would normally recommend this nursery untill yesterday.I went with two friends one whom had to return a garden wind spinner unfortunately she wasn't very happy with it as it only moved slowly and didn't do what she expected.Due to the C/virus and being a pension she couldn't return it very quickly but she had phoned up and inquired about returning it.when we got there the girl took it out side and held it up in the air it moved, slowly granted. The manager was sent for and his answer was NO she couldn't exchange it as it wasn't broken, true!but it didn't do what she believed it to do so after much discussion that w4fas the end of it .Not even a credit note to buy something later. He said try bending it to catch more wind.He even said i could of brought it back earlier funny since I don't drive. The point i am making is buyer truly be WHERE as if you purches anything there thats not what you expected when you get it home theres no recall on it.Seems hard to me especially the time line with everything thats happening. On a different matter i wanted some information on a climbing plant and waited for about 10 minutes for the guy to finnish serving a customer and usually found you got good advice but it was as if it was to much trouble i have now decided not to use this nursery anymore and you can be sure i Will be letting friends&family know .SO well done virgina nursery .Just as a after note i am 60 years old and never have a written a review before and hope i am never made to again.

This nursery is huge!! I was looking for inspiration for a new garden and was almost overwhelmed with choices. I found about a dozen plants and was happy with the prices. It's a great place to explore...

Can't believe the size of this place - It's Huge! Rows and rows of plants to choose from. The prices are fairly reasonable and if you can find someone to help you (we always end up going on a Sunday, when it's incredibly busy), you do get some pretty good advice on what to choose and where to plant it.
They also have bird baths, water features, hoses and other gardening accessories. The inside covered area boasts a few shops including home and gift wares plus a restaurant style café, that sells coffee and meals. The coffee was pretty good but the meals were quite expensive for what they were! (We ended up having lunch at the local Pub just down the road - great meals and much better value .... but that's another review :)). Highly recommend the Nursery though!

Well worth the drive, the range is huge, the staff are always around, the gardener knows his stuff, the plants are in fine condition. You need 2 hours of walking around to see all the plants and equipment and gift shops. Fertilisers, pesticides, garden sheds, pet section etc.
Friends from Magil brag about this place!

Approximate cost: $Price reflects the quallity

After reading some of the earlier reviews for Virginia Nursery I feel that my travelling distance is minor compared to some of the others. This nursery definitely has lots of attractions to boggle the mind and eyes of the gardener and potential gardener. Not only have they got an extensive range of plants including ferns, succulents and shrubs etc. but a myriad of pots, ornaments and statues, garden tools and accessories, watering devices and bug deterrents. This place could almost take a day to explore, firstly the inside, lunch at the cafe, then meander outside amongst the larger specimens under the sails, roses, flowers etc and finally return inside a buy a gift for your favourite aunt at the gift shop. Every thing you will ever need in the garden is here, as other reviewers have said "well worth the trip" PS take plenty of money.

I love going here even if its just to have a look. Wide variety of plants but thats not all they sell. I brought my son's birthday present from here. They have a statue section were you will find something thats not in the other shops and prices are very reasonable. You could quite easily spend most of the day here just looking around and enjoy the tranquillity of the area. Love it here and will go back.
