Gluten free menu Food is ok, not great but not bad For an Asian restaurant it could be cheaper, for an hip and funky restaurant then the prices are average. $8.90 for an Asahi seems too expensive regardless where you are.

I love the concept of this place but due to it's location, the ambience just wasn't there and it was hard to hold a proper conversation with my friends due to all the noises that went on in the Mall.

Service was fantastic and the staff , super friendly and helpful. Food was pretty good and my favourite would have to be the Teriyaki Beef served with lots of greens although the sweetness of the Teriyaki sauce could be a little overwhelming and sweet.

Prices are a rather steep for a place like this but having said all of the above, I do like this place . I just wish they could drop their prices a little .

This franchise in the middle of Chadstone shopping centre is not really designed for a shopping mall. It is sparsely furnished with long polished wooden tables and long benches for seating. We tried too ramen dishes and gyoza. The gyoza are small but quite tasty. They are also quite expensive, about $11 for five. Main courses are around $20. This is quite expensive for a noodle dish. The seafood udon had quite a bit of seafood in a chicken flavoured broth. The problem with this was that the broth was totally unexceptional as was the pork belly udon in a vegetable broth. In Japan people queue for a hundred yards or more to get one of these exquisite dishes, the broth being made from secret recipes. Not here though. They have wine and beer though they had run out of Asahi Dry on tap. In all the place is neat, rather sterile, not very comfortable and clean. The toilet is a country mile away which can be extremely inconvenient. It's very expensive for what you get. A wine a beer, a small entree and two bowls of soup were just under $70! There is infinitely better value close by.

Approximate cost: $20

Not a place I would go intentionally, but more for convenience sake as it is situated in Chadstone Shopping Centre, the food here is average. I usually order udon, which is average is size and taste, perhaps slightly bland for my liking. Price is also not cheap but survive is okay.

Approximate cost: $20-$25

I had udon noodle here and it wasn't that great; however, the side dish called "green bean" was quite tasty. It was very expensive though. We spent like $50 for the food of 2.

The food wasn't too tasty during my visit and the service was bad and very slow. The restuarant was crowded and the seats were rock hard. And also small portions and very expensive. I won't be going back anytime soon.

Approximate cost: $20

I've been here at least a dozen times now. I always go back ordering the same thing most of the time (Teriyaki Salmon/ Teiryaki Steak Soba & Miso Soup). Service is great, they accommodate my daughter's pram (placed on the side) all the time. Kids meal is free when you order a main course which also includes a drink. Slightly pricey for what it is but I prefer their meals as opposed to the ones available at the foodcourt.

Approximate cost: $22

Yummy food, great service. Seriously delicious! I also like their version of a loyalty card, which will ultimately entitle you to a free main course.

The good is tasteless. The price is too expensive. The seats are too crowded and the place is too noisy. I will not go back again.
