Having been a client of Warby Street Physiotherapy for many years I haven't had this sort of experience at all. The office staff - only too happy to help you, and as for being late for an appointment, they have a 10minutes over time , so that if you are late and ring, then there is no problem. You still get in for your appointment or they then rebook you when you ring in. Mrs. Ellem - the owner of the business, is very much client focused and she makes sure that the staff go overboard to try accommodate clients immediately. The way the work area is set out, Mrs. Ellem can hear what is going on in most places within the building, so if there is any client issues, she is well aware of them at the time and she will come out and sort out the problem if the staff cannot help the client. If you don't do this sort of thing then you don't have a business, and being in Campbelltown for 25 years, I think she may have the recipe for success. Mrs. Ellem is one of the most qualified physiotherapist in Campbelltown and has held many other positions outwith her own business in the Physiotherapy field and Physiotherapy Association. Mrs. Ellem has built up an outstanding business over the years. I doubt that Mrs. Ellem or any of the other physiotherapist would have another client on the bed being treated in the 5-10minutes stated by this person. The appointments are made on a 20min appointment and being a new client then it would have been a 40min appointment as a assessment would have had to be done first before any treatment. So the physiotherapist would not be treating anyone else in that time slot. I do recommend this Physiotherapy practice. The Standards are high and are expected by Mrs. Ellem of all her staff whether they be clerical staff or physiotherapists. gerberry

I have been a client at Di Ellem's Physiotherapy and Spinal Injuries Centre since before 1986 after spinal injuries and complications. Every one of her Physio's, Dallas Wilson, Marlene Berry and Di have been especially kind and caring through very stressful periods. The centre has never acted unprofessional and have bent over backwards for my situation. Jen Pam Rita Marge and Linda have to be the kindest most caring people. In my experience with more than 200 treatments have I found them to courteous and on time. It is one of the rare medical clinics that strive to have their appointments on time. Also in my experience if anything has gone wrong they have gone out of their way to make up for the appointment I was late for or forgotten for whatever reason. At no time have I been treated with less than the utmost respect.

Over the many years I have been attending this clinic I have never known any of the staff to be anything but courteous and helpful and I too have been late on a number of occasions but have never been treated with anything but respect by the staff, and on those occasions, may have had to wait a little - which anyone would expect in such a busy practice, however have never been turned away nor had my booking cancelled. This just does not happen, especially if you are only 5 minutes late and phone ahead. The negative reference to (Diana & Co) about such a professional and popular physiotherapy practice leaves me astonished. Diana Ellem has been my physiotherapist for over two decades now and is well respected by her staff and patients, not to mention other medical professionals who hold her in the highest regard. I would not hesitate to highly recommend Diana Ellem and her team at Warby Street Physiotherapy & Sports Injuries Centre for her high standards and professionalism. She has treated me on a number of occasions and helped me gain a remarkable recovery, recently identifying a serious problem which was not picked up by a previous physiotherapist from another practice which I was referred to post op.K.K.

I have been a patient at the Warby Street Clinic for over three years and have great admiration for Diana Ellem and her team. The ladies in the front office know me all by name and always give me a cheery hello on arrival for my weekly visits ,whether it is for Physio or in the Hydrotherapy Pool. Diana has a dedicated team of staff who appear to go above and beyond their daily duties. I saw an unwell diabetic patient offered a cup of tea and biscuits on one of my visits. The office ladies are always caring and respectful of all the patients (new and existing) that they attend to. Diana has an exceptional knowledge of the workings of the human body . I have always found her to be professional and cares about the patients aches and pains. Her knowledge of the body allows her to treat specific body parts in pain and the advice she offers helps to achieve exceptional results. Diana is the type of physio, who has a hands on approach when treating injured patients. She is thorough in assessing injuries. If a specialist or surgeon needs to be involved ,Diana know exactly who to send you to. I am so grateful that I found Diana after a friend's recommendation. I am on my way to a speedy recovery and that is all thanks to the fabulous Diana Ellem and her team at Warby Street.

Firstly, for a clinic with (and I quote from the website) "...over 25 years" of experience, you would think that simple things like clerical and booking duties would not be an issue. Unfortunately, this wasn't the case with my experience. After booking an appointment on Wednesday morning, reception had told me the last appointment was available at 4:40PM which I gladly took. Like most people, I work the usual 9AM-5PM. As expected, I needed the permission of my boss to leave early. This request was approved. The following day I made a call 2 hours prior to my appointment for confirmation. The receptionist assured me that the appointment was ready to go. Worried about the unreliability of CityRail trains, I asked if there was any appointments available later to which staff replied no. I stated to the staff that I would have enough time to make it. Fast forward to 4:35PM stuck in a traffic jam, but not far from the clinic I made a courtesy call to inform them I was running late and I should be there about 5 minutes late. The staff who answered asked my name twice and informed me my name was no longer on the list and re-booking was not possible as there is another patient already being treated. This staff attitude was blas at best and was not able to provide me with a reason as to why my appointment was cancelled. I asked to speak to someone else. Equally blas reasons were given by another staff, who unapologetically informed me "well..nothing we could do" and that they would "talk to the staff member about it". No apologies. No offer to rebook. This left me three hours out of pocket/three hours without pay (for leaving early under the assumption I would be treated) This would not have been a problem however I was given NO PRIOR NOTICE that my appointment had been cancelled. All in all quite an unpleasant experience as the expertise of the practitioners themselves (Diana and Co) is not done justice by their staff. - Rafael
