i had my too children in waverley private... the first not being a very happy experinece but thought for my second i would try again as is might of been bad luck the first time.. we just left there a couple of weeks ago and i would say i will never return to this hospital again.. the second time was worse.. i have been in surgery dept and i found the staff to be wonderful but i couldnt say this for the maternity section.. i would have to say only a handful of staff where caring but the rest where not at all and it is just a job... i also felt they where very under staff, and i also felt that i had no rights to my bubs who was in special care for 2 weeks... i would recommend a public hospital before this hospital for having a baby....

Had my 3rd baby at Waverley Private and it was the best experience I've ever had in a maternity ward. The midwives, the angels of Waverley as I refer to them, are brilliant. I've never felt so well taken care of and you can tell that it's more than a job to these ladies...they truly do care for their patients.
I took the option to be moved to the Novotel for the last two nights and that was fantastic...the one on one care from the midwives there (especially Meryl!) was absolutely brilliant for all of the little questions that a Mum has before heading home and nothing was too much trouble for them.
The entire staff at Waverley...from the theatre staff to the kitchen staff are lovely, professional and very friendly.

I had my first baby here and have nothing but praise for all staff. I was made to feel at home and had all the help I could wish for, both long before, and after the birth.

Felt very comfortable at this hospital, the nursing staff were extremely caring and sensitive to all needs. No big deal was made of family visiting in non-specific visiting hours. Food was particularly good in this suburban private hospital. The overall cleanliness of the hospital was fantastic, I left healthier and happy about my hospital visit.

I have been a patient at the hospital for both surgical and maternity. I couldn't fault either section. The midwives were fantastic and were available after I had gone home.

This is an excellent small private hospital with a maternity wing and a general medical/surgical wing. The staff are all very caring and understanding. The specialist care and attention is comforting. Its kept very clean and tidy.

Sensational experience from the first familiarisation evening to the day we left the hospital with our newborn. The nursing staff were fantastic in their care & attention. The ante-natal classes were informative & fun & held in a superb location (Novotel). Personal attention at all times with a great nurse to patient ratio.
