Stayed 2 nights at the hotel, Tom and Carl were great for a chat. Dinner at the hotel was excellent, and great value too. The room was very clean with everything you need for an overnight stay, old in appearance as expected in a building of its time. Inclusions were great, breakfast was lovely.

The main reason to come to this pub is a huge room filled with pool tables. I've been to many pubs wanting a game of pool with a mate and had to wait with my $2 on the corner of the table. You will never have this problem here. Plenty of room to just sit and enjoy the company of friends and a cold beer. There is a small outside area to have a smoke and chat, if you can pull yourself away from a great pool table!

This pub is close to the CBD and Salamanca areas so it's in a great location for a lunchtime meal. They have a good menu to choose from and meals are relatively quick to come out. They have a good range of lunchtime pizzas and other things on the menu. There are plenty of pool/8 ball tables so you shouldn't have a problem getting a table for a quick game at lunch. There's also a small Oasis gaming area and some small outdoor areas.
