CrimSafe door installed. Easy purchase and installation. Actually showed up at the time he said! Professional installer and cleaned up his mess. Happy to do business with them again.

I am a landlord of a property in Perth that is fitted with Westral blinds. The blinds have stopped working. Since Thursday 10th October, so now almost 2 weeks I have repeatedly called Westral to schedule a service call. Today I called them twice, each time they said they would call back. They did not. I again called them, got through to someone who asked for all the same information again who then gave a me a scheduled time 12 days from now. This is for a product that their website says is under Guarantee. And this is for a room that is now in complete darkness because the Westral shutter will not open. I asked the person I spoke to to let me speak to the owner so I could explain my experience. I run a business, I know things dont work out sometimes and its important to get feedback. Her response? She put the 'phone down on me. So I called Westral again, the 4th time today, spoke to the sales manager. He was reasonable, but felt that despite it being a child's room that was in complete darkness it was reasonable to wait 11 days to get it fixed - or even open! I came away with a clear understanding of why I was wrong, that they were very busy and I should have read the small print on the guarantee (life does not mean life for shutters). So after 2 weeks of trying - nothing. You expect this from a back street cheap end provider. You don't expect this from a supplier that goes to great lengths to stress its 40 years of experience. I think they need to change the way they deal with people and explain what their guarantee means. Until then - avoid.

The sales reps, admin and managerial sector need to take a good hard look at their communications because it doesn't exist. Took over 2 months for my door to be fitted after numerous calls and messages left unanswered....very, very disappointing. On a brighter note, the installer was very good and phoned before arriving, thank you

We appreciate the comments but it would have been helpful if we could have more specific information, such as the client's name, so that we could then take remedial action or at least offer a personal apology. As it is, we can find nothing around the time of this complaint. With over 200,000 made to measure products being manufactured by our 200 staff in our Canning Vale premises each year we do from time to time, unfortunately, make errors. However, we do remedy these promptly and do take client's feedback seriously so more information would help, please.

Security Screens - we had the majority of our windows and 3 doors done, 2 sliding and 1 double door, the sliding door lock broke within 2 years and was never fixed properly after contacting Westral and now after 6 years the locking mechanism in the front door has broken and they will not fix it without us paying a $99- call out fee (possibly $260 if needs fixing) and then costs on top even though they claim to have a 30year fault warranty. So remember that the locks only last 3 -6 years at the most and this is on the strongest crimsafe door. The door at the front cost us $1200, the sliding door $1500-. All our windows have been good.

recently we nenovated our house and as a result our window sizes were slightly different from the original size and at westral they were able to cut our original blinds down to the size we needed
