This is not normally a cafe I would frequent, didn't really like it, but our friends wanted to check it out as we were close by. The staff seemed a bit snobby which put me off, our coffee was ok, about average, nothing special. Didn't like the atmosphere, felt unfriendly. Won't be returning.

Worth a mention - the salmon, watercrest and avocado toasted turkish bread is to die for. I absolutely love this place. I come here before I go to my hairdressers across the road. The coffee is fantastic. I love how they are very child friendly. They always make my daughter's hot chocolate a great temperature so she can drink it as soon as it comes. Great service

Whisk is amazing! I wish they did breakfast, I would live there!
Their sandwiches and flatbreads are super delicious, handmade, and well chosen. Their coffee is amazing and their desserts are divine.

The atmosphere is lovely, a very cute cafe with elegant fittings and high ceilings, making it cool even on the 40 degree day I last visited.

The best thing is that they are not too pricey, which is fantastic given the area is becoming increasingly overpriced.

This place is a new favourite and even though I don't even like bread very much usually, I'm completely in love with their fare.

Whisk is one of my favourite places to go. It's one of Adelaide's hidden secrets! I am a big fan of their cakes and flans both sweet and savoury, which are ridiculously well-priced! Everything is made fresh on the premises, the selection is amazing and it's always hard to choose what you want as everything looks and tastes sooo good! The staff are lovely and I have always had great service. The cafe's of Adelaide have a lot to learn from Whisk, it's a little gem and I would highly recommend it for lunch or to drop in for coffee and cake.

Approximate cost: $9.00

I agree! So much character, and such amazing food! Simple yet subtle, and just done right.

This place is a true gem!!! Whether you're after a delectable sweet or a light breakfast or lunch, you are sure to experience a taste sensation! The stand-out quality of this little cafe would have to be the fact that EVERYTHING is made fresh on the premises (even including the gourmet breads used in the panini sandwiches!) Flavour combinations are delicious and different without being pretentious or over-priced - you'll find you can get an affordable 'gourmet' light lunch and great coffee for under $15 and will be delighted to find that cakes take a distinct European influence - no stodgy donuts here!!!!
Absolutely delectable!!!

Approximate cost: $9-50 (light meals) $5-50 (cakes)

The place is good for its quaintness. Small cafe with a side alley, good on non windy days. Food is good if you are after flavoursome flans. Not a huge variety but enough for a nice breakfast. For sweets they have pretty good cakes. Coffee is inconsistent. Have had ok coffee there, and have had real bad coffee there once. But I'll be happy to try again. Real downer is the price. A slice of flan with some salad on the side is $9.50 or so.

Approximate cost: $10

A lovely patiserrie/cafe that is worth a visit. Good coffee, great treats, the family will love going here. Easy to find on Goodwood Road, just check their open times though as we have been surprised as to some of the times they are closed.

This Patisserie is worthy of the best rating that is possible. They are very good with their service and the pastries and delicious cakes are lovely with your coffee. Lunches are delicious especially the vegetarian studel pastries. Very good service.
