Thank you for the professionalism of all the service people from Wholesale Kitchens Victoria. A Designer came with very good solutions and colors schemes for our new kitchen, explaining our next steps at the first appointment and we were ready to participate and looked forward to our project. The installer did a precise and good quality job.
Even though they are only Kitchen supply company, they provided us with a list of the subcontractors such as stone and glass companies to add final finishes to the kitchen.
It took 3 months from the first appointment when we signed the agreement to receive our kitchen.
We definitely will recommend the Wholesale Kitchens Victoria to our friends.

I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone. I was supposed to have a kitchen installed on 13/11/17. So many mistakes were made that 4 cupboards had to be remade. I am still waiting for the last 2 to be installed. Apparently they are going to be installed 2/3 days before Xmas. As a result I have lost my trades to other jobs, so no hope of having kitchen finished before Xmas The whole exercise has been an inefficient disaster, with very little help or concern from the company. You have to pay up front and once that is done they show very little concern for you.

From the outset, you should be aware of the high-pressure sales tactics from the salesperson who comes to your home to do the initial quotation. They will offer a significant discount (up to 20%) if you sign a twenty-page contract on the spot. Unfortunately, if you do choose to proceed, this is the last time you will see or hear from this part of the Wholesale team. From here, you are resigned to deal with sub contractor after sub contractor - and even though you pay Wholesale a "project management fee", please know that you will be expected to manage all of the trades, which can be very challenging. My 5 square metre apartment kitchen took 13 weeks - and they ended up essentially walking away from the job. In that time, the plumber they used flooded my apartment, so I had to independently chase up compensation through his personal insurance (Wholesale wanted nothing to do with the matter). It took six weeks for them to locate and secure a plasterer to do the cornices... every single trade complained about the location of the apartment (I live 14 kms from the Sydney CBD - they were all travelling from the South Coast or the outskirts of Sydney). I eventually managed to get a supervisor to the apartment to address the unfinished work and obvious faults. He filled out a form noting 9 significant items that needed to be repaired / replaced - and that was it. No more contact from Wholesale! They had their money (and you pay the trades separately and in cash anyway), so I suppose they simply didn't care. If I want a finished kitchen, I will have to hire trades myself and source the parts that are required. If I could give this company less than one star, I would. I would never recommend them - in fact, I actively discourage anyone from engaging their services.
Price of kitchen: $30,000

Avoid this company at all costs.
We had numerous issues form start to finish with the installer, including cupboards starting to come off the wall a couple of months after completion.
It has now been over year and we are still dealing with a number of issues.

When you ask for an in home quote you expect someone to turn up. I had a cancelled appointment 5 minutes fore the scheduled time and was then told to send detailed measurements to the office for a quote to be completed and as a good will gesture $25 would be taken off the final quote price. When you have a confirmed appointment you should actually turn up not ask the customer to do the work for you. AVOID AVOID AVOID

Really loved the work Jeff did on my kitchen.

the cabinets were great and the benchtop was just sheer gold.

Kitchen is great, good quality layout etc. previous review have mentioned issues with service and timing

I had to double check measurements and make corrections (which is ok, got it right)

Communication overall has been very poor. (Cabinets arrived 7 hours late - only found out they weren't coming until the afternoon when I called them. Also 1 piece turned up damaged and needs replacement. Customer service set expectations that I would have a new kitchen in 2-3 days once started, more like 2-3 weeks (maybe).

They gave me a call to see how I liked my new kitchen ... It would be great but it's not finished yet. Thought customer service should know that your 2 days is actually 2 weeks and I don't have a kitchen yet

Firstly, they had measured the cabinets incorrectly so that on the first day of install they all needed to be collected, resized and returned the next day. They collected 6 and returned 5!! When we called to say one was missing they insisted they had all been returned. We insisted they had not & after a little hunting, what do you know? They found one had been put on the wrong truck and will not be returned until next week. Due to the incorrect measurements the cabinet above the fridge no longer fit. This needed to be resized which has taken two weeks!! We did not receive the hinges for the euro laundry doors, a panel which sat alongside the dishwasher and a shelf in one cabinet. Basically the wholesale kitchen was a wholesale balls up. Their staff do not reply to emails and do not return calls. Funnily enough they did prior to paying in full. Call me cynical but I am seeing a correlation in their diligence prior to paying and lack thereof after. I really feel like I have been dropped like a hot potato which I would like to cook in my new oven however I am unable to because my kitchen is STILL not finished. Everything that went wrong was somebody else’s fault. No one took responsibility. At my expense I now have to get my installer back to finished off. Got my bench tops somewhere else which was great. They could not stuff that up. I am a glass half full kind of guy after all. Really, really disappointing!!

Disappointed with the customer service of Wholesale Kitchens. We signed up on the spot due to a 'special promotion valid that day only' and the promise that they could instal our kitchen within 6 weeks as we have a baby due soon (usual instal time 10 weeks). We had another company that could also instal in 6 weeks but chose Wholesale Kitchens. 10 weeks later and a lot of phone calls we had our kitchen installed - 4 weeks later than promised. We were told the sales person should have not made the promise and there was nothing they could do to hurry the kitchen along. Also, phone calls and emails were often ignored making it even more frustrating. Our final site measure with the kitchen installer was also way off, he did not measure height of ceilings properly (so difference in space between cupboards & kitchen bench on each side of kitchen), he didn't quote properly so his instal bill was 30% higher, and the kitchen bench was not measured correctly so stone bench an additional $500. I would not recommend this company due to poor service by all of their staff involved.

Once initial deposit was left, there was very little communication. I was promised that I would have my kitchen before Christmas which would not have happenned without complaining.I answered a survey and was told I would receive 2 free movie tickets which I didn't receive.

Approximate cost: $15,000
