This place is a little expensive for what it offers, and the food is fairly normal. The concept is fabulous - an organic cafe - but most breakfasts and lunches are around $17-20, and the food is ok, but not knock-your-socks-off good. I went here when my sister was down from Perth, and we were a little surprised at the cost.
I came here to have a browse at the menu and take a walk through the organic store attached to the back of the front café area. After a perusal of the overpriced menu, decided to stick with a coffee. Ordered the largest take away decaf latte, requesting it to be extra hot. After a 15 minute wait I was served with a medium sized lukewarm coffee. Having paid an exorbitant $6.50 I was sure that I was going to get the largest size I ordered: I had already conceded defeat by paying so much. After telling the barrister I ordered the largest size, he said that I hadn't and the largest size was actually an extra dollar....$7.50 for a coffee????? In any event, he made me the next size up without requesting the difference... kind of expected considering that the order was incorrectly made.
The second one wasn't any hotter but not worth the complaint. As with most organic stores, the produce in the store was over priced and the 'clearance' sections was far from clearance priced. Don't think I'll be coming back to this one.
Approximate cost: $20
Foods was all organic and using the freshest ingredients! Very beautiful presentation of the dishes that we tried. And such a healthy alternative to the usual stuff! Our dishes had minimal oil and were cooked lightly with not too much sauce, it was very tastey nonetheless. After eating here I just felt so healthy! The prices was a bit expensive tho. Definitely coming here again
Approximate cost: $25
beautiful atmosphere at this cafe. Good breakfast and lunch menu, and beautiful display of wraps/baguettes, cakes/slices. I ate here recently - good coffee but unfortunately the cake was a little dry/few days old. Would still return.
Approximate cost: $15
I love the concept of this cafe. They only use organic products and fairtrade coffee, tea & sugar are a massive bonus. Food is delicious and they have a great variety. The organic store at the back is also a fantastic idea.
Approximate cost: $15
A nice place for coffee or a light lunch. They also serve breakfast but do not open until 8am. It is a bit on the expensive side. They usually have a gluten free biscuit option, but do not offer much in the way of GF lunch options.
I love visiting this cafe. Please note that this review is of the cafe and not the adjoining organic shop.
The food is beautifully cooked/made and there are always new things to try. I like the fact that each time I go there I can try something new if I feel like it. It is great to know that I'm eating organic produce as well. Their options change quite often as they move with the seasons. The layout of the cafe is very friendly and the staff are always courteous. The value is not fantastic when compared to some cafes, but very good for organic produce. This is a really enjoyable cafe to relax and catch up with friends or have a meal with your partner.

It does sounds pricey - perhaps having Organic in the name adds value
Yeah, I think so ;-) But I wouldn't sacrifice taste and price for organic when there are many wonderful organics stores in Adelaide, one can buy organic and eat at home for 1/4 the price!
