I bought an assortment of sweets and savory treats for a work function at the nearby Macedon Spa. They were all very fresh and delicious. The staff were friendly and went above and beyond, even helping me to my car whilst I held my toddler.
A lovely place.

The pies here are great and the cakes are yummy. Nice little cafe in a cute little town. Woodend is a lovely place to stop for a bite and what is on offer at this bakery hits the spot.

Recommended for country hospitality and service.

We had a very pleasant experience here after visiting friends in the area. After a drive up we were a little peckish and stopped here for some coffee and pies and sausage rolls. The serving lady was very accommodating - showing us which were each variety (ie beef and onion/beef and mushroom etc) and even put them all in separate bags.

We actually decided to eat in at the many tables and chairs provided and had an enjoyable time smelling all the other products and planning what we'd eat next time while looking out the window at the quiet busyness of the town. Only fault was the pies could have been a little bit hotter.

Approximate cost: $Under $25 for 3 people

Been in 3 times in past 2 months on way to visit friends in Daylesford, all 3 times spent over $50 buying pies pasties and cakes to take as gifts. Had the same woman serve me every time, lots of sighing and eyerolling as I asked which family pies were available today, (we couldnt see any!) then ordered their 'famous'vanilla slices which she put in a bag, then squashed the hot pies on top of (ruined) Ordered 3 coffees and she said I'll do those first and we waited for 10 minutes while she chatted with the other girls) then served us scalding watery coffee. Very disappointing and definitely NOT going back.

Approximate cost: $50
