This store is aimed at the low income family. One of the excellent outcomes of this is that there are a LOT of specials and in general, you get a full trolley here for significantly less than at Indooroopilly (for example). One of the downsides is that in order to ensure that people with low incomes get access to the full range of fruit and vegetables, these are not the highly polished top of the range grade veg you would find at Indooroopilly. However, they might only cost 50c a kilo as opposed to $5 a kilo. There was a time during the drought that this was not working because the quality of the fruit dropped very badly, they're back to normal now. So you would expect to find huge displays full of discount priced fruit and veges here, and quite a variety of less 'polished', more 'rocklea market' type fruit and veges. It is an extremely busy store but it has been like this for over 30 years - it services families and so there are lots of families here - and a nice atmosphere goes along with that. But, with the extended trading hours a person can easily plan to go at a quieter time (after kids dinner/bedtimes) for a quicker, quieter shopping experience.

I only go here if I absolutely need to bulk up with the discounts they have. I prefer to go on Sunday mornings rather than Saturday mornings where it's chockablock! At most times, there's not enough check out people so 90% of people are lining up a the express lanes so you could lining up for ages!

Highlights:
Big mark downs on post easter and christmas period
I like the grapes in here
Great selection of deli choices
Marinated chicken is really good
Sausages
Bakery products

Hit and misses:
Could do with more check out people
Some fruit and veg could do with top ups

I use a wheeled Walker and Today and everytime I go there they never have the checkout with the wheel chair access open. They apparently expect you to remove the 2 or 3 trolleys that are blocking the standard checkouts so that you can get your walker through. As annoying as this is, I at least have someone with me who can do this but what about all the people who can't remove the troleeys themselves. All major shops have a wheel chair checkout. Why then are they never open.

I have shopped at this store for years and I find the staff to be very rude. They can barely look at you while they scan your order as they are to busy talking to other staff members. The "fresh fruit and vegetables", what a joke, it is the worst I have seen anywhere, it is nowhere near being fresh and I avoid buying any of it. But the thing that pisses me off the most is that they will only give you a certain amount of bags based on how much you spend so today my husband was left carrying the bags and juggling 2 boxes of cereal because they would not give him bags for them. I think it is about time that this store picks up or they will be run out by the many other supermarkets in the area that are much better all round. I will be going to Coles in future.

Approximate cost: $1- $300

I prefer to shop at Inala over Forest lake store for my main shop as it looks fresher and cleaner than others. I find l get a better value for money at Inala and good service

Satisfactory experience, what you would expect from other Woolworths supermarkets. Prices are better than other locations, such as Forest Lake. Queues can be long at times. Should look at automated check outs such as Forest Lake has.

I went in the person at the check out was nice, staff asking for help, were not so good. Prices have gone up I am paying more for the same quality, and the quality was average in the beginning.

I smell an off smell from the bakery.

Approximate cost: $150
