This is the best site on the web for finding last minute, great value accomodation. I travelled up the East Coast of Australia recently and booked all my hotels the night before using wotif and was not disappointed once. Its easy to use, never had a hassle.

... My last Hotel experience was in Sept 07 at the Bayview on the Park, in St.Kilda Melb) ... was an absolutely fantastic deal$$ & the Hotel is just gorgeous !!!!!!!
Room is massive & very presentable with a huge bed with high quality linen, very modern. Though bathroom is nice but nothing flash.
Hotel foyer is huge & so beautiful with leather chester couches. Morning papers in the foyer to read. Reception staff is very professional & adequate service.
A block away from St.Kilda Road, where you can catch a tram to the heart of St.Kilda where there is the beach, Luna Park, Palais Theatre, dining places, etc...
If you catch a tram the other direction going north you can get to the city of Melb, & also can get to the famous Lygon Street cafes, etc ...
Can't wait to stay at the Bayview on the Park again : )

I have found some of the cheapest accomodation through wtoif.com.au. Alot of range to choose from,the searches are easy and the website had no delays,like some others!

Wotif is the only way I book accommodation now. Wherever I'm headed, guaranteed I can find some bargain, high class accommodation, and literally just before rushing to the airport. There hasn't been a single hiccup and really, why pay full price when you can get the same thing so much cheaper?

Able to acces great accomadation rates over the internet - great service and very user friendly. I was able to find a great place to stay in the axact location for about a third of the usual rate.

Really good website used it myself and even cheaper than lastminute.com. Booked a cheap room at the Rydges no hassel at all payed and print it off once done.

I have used Wotif to research and book accomodation a number of times. It is good to get an idea of what is available in the area I wish to stay. I have found that sometimes it is a similar price, or you can upgrade at a comparable rate, by contacting the motel direct or if visiting South Australia booking through SA shorts
