Went to the all you can eat buffet and was well satisfied by the amount of food (especially desserts). As the most expensive buffet in Hobart, it is well worth it

Our stay was last minute decision as we have taken longer on our day trip than anticipated but we were pleasantly surprised by how accommodating the staff were in finding us a room and arranging special conditions for our young family (we required a room with a bath) they were friendly and the room was well maintained and clean.

At Riverview Snacks-i highly recommend the Foccaccia Steak Sandwich served with fries-$10.50 approx.member price $9.75! i dined here this week and the steak was tender and good size for sandwich. egg was included, salad. pot of tomato sauce on side. foccaccia toasted just right. chips-hot&crispy. really enjoyed my meal and wonderful value for your money for sure.Service great.

The meals here are good value and they change the menu often enough that there's variety for regulars. It's a pity you can only enter it through the gaming area as that means families can't bring children through to enjoy a meal :(

For our tenth anniversary my husband and myself decided we would treat ourselves to a night at the casino including accommodation. We had a a wonderful night. Firstly we were upgraded to the 16th floor which was a really lovely room with lovely view. There were plenty of places to take a walk and have pre-dinner drinks. Our meal at Pier One was absolutely lovely. My only criticism was that there was really no where to go and have a dance, the birdcage bar is nice and private but is a bit small to be able to enjoy the live music and a dance.

Approximate cost: $35

Yes, the good old days when there was Regines upstairs - not that you'd want to go there if you're old enough to be beyond the partying-all-night scene! But yes, I agree that another bar with a dance floor would be a great addition.

I've never been to the bird cage bar but ill certainly check it out!

Definitely a pity there's nowhere to dance.

The all you can eat buffet is fantastic value , I try and take my kids there at least once a month . They love the variety as do I , the staff are friendly and polite , the drinks are a little expensive but seeing as though you can sit there as long as you want and eat as much as you want its worth it .

While the hotel services are second to none in this venue i am a little against rewards members recieving free accommodation in return for gambling. My now ex husband spent many thousand of dollars gambling and i always thought the free accommodation an insult for all that me and my children had gone without while he gambled. But going on services they are great, rooms are nice and staff ar efriendly.

The service at wrest point was excellent, fantastic tourist advice and suggestions for places to visit. The rooms where a little dated old style tv,s in cupboards etc, beds where a little uncomfortable but overall we had a nice stay
